First time travelling with Jet Airways. Check in was very quiet, I arrived around 2 hours before flight as standard and encountered no queue at all at the check in desk. Flew from Schipol which was fairly quiet that day in general compared to other times I have flown from there. My seat position was between business and economy so benefited from additional leg room, although had the TV screen that is 'shared' across the 3 seats.. Only slight downside to that, is that you can't turn off that TV as it displays flight information, so at times the screen is quite bright depending on what it is displaying, which makes it trickier to sleep.. Also, it's in a loop so... Food on board was nice. Was expecting Indian food, but it was more like Euro food.. actually it was very Filipino style food I felt, meat and gravy, vegetables. Was tasty. Flight into Mumbai was a little late due to congestion at airport but only by about 40 mins. I had a connection flight to catch in 1 hour on landing so was a bit worried I wouldn't catch it. I went through a secondary security check and luckily caught the flight OK with time remaining. Second flight was also with Jet Airways and was likewise fine. I think for the price, it was a good deal. £260 from Amsterdam to Bangkok, One Way in around 14.5 hours. Cant complain with anything at that price.
