Cheap flights to Antalya

The fifth largest city in Turkey, and gateway to the country’s beautiful riviera, Antalya is fast earning itself a reputation as a great city break destination. Explore its beautiful Roman harbour, visit its excellent museums or head on down the coast to one of the region’s spectacular beaches.

When to book flights to Antalya

Summer is the most popular time to visit Antalya, especially for those heading directly to the region’s resorts. From May to September temperatures are hot, skies are clear and beaches are busy. Flights to Antalya can be a little more expensive at this time of year as holidaymakers flock to the region for a bit of guaranteed sun.

If you’re more interested in historic sights and cultural attractions than beaches and sunbeds, April and October are probably the best months to book your flights to Antalya. The weather is a lot cooler and the lack of crowds will make it easier to visit all of the sights.

From December to January Antalya experiences its low season. The weather can be very temperamental at this time of year, with rain and grey skies not uncommon. Thanks to these unappealing conditions, this is the easiest time to find cheap flights to Antalya.

Good all round journey

The transit at Istanbul was awful. There were no signs once we left the airplane so we went the wrong way, the staff were very unhelpful in directing us to the domestic terminal which we eventually found after running around the airport 1 hour and half. We would have missed our next flight had it not been delayed. We were the last to board during the last call to the gate. Were left wheezing in our seats from all the running, a horrible and stressful experience.

There was a grumpy man sitting in front of us and as soon as our kids made a noise he showed us an horrible look. It was absolutely annoying and we felt uncomfortable.
