The fenced in backyard is great for small dogs to explore while you grill veggie kabobs and hamburgers. On cold nights roast marshmallows over a gas lit fire pit. Note: We have security cameras in the front of the house keeping an eye on the entrance. In the back of the home we have a camera facing the side of the house (there is a camera on the smart lock) and a ring flood light keeping an eye on the gated entrance. Northshore Walkabout is located in an area where walking is easy. If you have to travel farther out, or would prefer not to walk, then there is ample parking for your car and Chattanooga is a driving friendly city. If you are driving downtown, on street parking can be limited during university events. THIS IS A NON SMOKING PROPERTY. \- NO SMOKING OF ANY KIND is permitted inside the home, on the deck or front porch, violation will incur a $500 fine + any additional cleaning fees and damages. This includes cigarettes, vaping, marijuana, cigars and all other smoking. PET POLICY: 1\. We do not allow dogs on the furniture. 2\. We allow two dogs per stay and no visiting pups beyond the two dogs for a flat rate of $150 3\. We do not allow puppies as they typically still in the training stages 4\. Dogs must potty and poop outside. We do not allow potty pads to be used inside 5\. Owners must pick up their pet poop from the yard and throw it away (in a bag and put in the trash bin that is in the front of the house at the bottom of the stairs) 6\. Dogs must be leashed, when not in the dog park area 7\. Dog will be supervised at all times 8\. If left alone, dogs must be crated 9\. Owner is responsible & liable for all damages caused by their dog(s). Owner went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. HVAC was out on first level and they made sure there were space heaters keeping the home warm! I rent a lot of VRBO houses and this one is the cleanest I have ever stayed in. The beds are so comfy and the kitchen very well stocked. There was plenty of room for all of us. It was so fresh, clean and everything was ready for us when we got there. We had zero problems. We loved our stay there. This was the place! Clean, up to date, spacious. Open floor plan on the first floor meant plenty of space for everyone to visit. Game room upstairs was a major hit. Everything was clean and well kept. Plenty of thoughtful and useful extras that are available to use at the house; a high chair, pack n play, well-stocked and organized kitchen. We enjoyed the game room as well. Aesthetically, the decor in this house is very tasteful and creates a pleasant atmosphere. This property is absolutely beautiful and comes with everything you could need. They even had dog bowls there for our furry friends. The hosts went above and beyond for us. We even had an unfortunate incident where the motor blew in one of the ac units causing the coils to freeze over. They sent someone out to look at it less than two hours after contacting them and it was fixed shortly after. On top of the excellent response and attention to the matter they offered to pay for our dinner that night. This home was perfect for our needs. Location was near the Aquarium and within walking distance of the best pizza in Chattanooga, coffee shops, shopping and the art district. Took our "grands" to "Chalk alley" in the art district, where they were encouraged to draw on the walls! The home allowed us to cook. Took advantage of the washer and dryer when the kids got their jackets soiled. All of the family enjoyed the game room and board games available. Provided the get-away and time to relax that we needed. While there were 5 televisions in the house, we didn't use them. We had quality time with our family and was to make memories spending time together. We would do it again! ##### Crystal P. Had a great stay. We were 2 families, total of 4 adults and 4 children ages 4-8\. Only thing to point out is the game room with 2 twins is only accessible by going through the 3rd bedroom - this only became an issue for us due to having sleeping kids. Also the only bathroom upstairs is a Jack and Jill between bedroom 2 & 3\. These things were fine but wish I had realized before arrival / may have impacted our choice. It wasn’t fair for one set of adults to have that upstairs bedroom and the other to have the very spacious and well appointed primary bedroom downstairs. Again not a big deal just didn’t realize before booking. Parking was super easy behind the house. Kitchen is well stocked. Great host communication. ##### Leah H. Overall, the property is exactly as described, and the rooms are very spacious and inviting. India and Desmond are wonderful hosts and have gone out of their way to ensure the house feels like a home. The house is fully stocked with all the kitchen items you could ask for (right down to seasonings and a coffee station), plenty of pillows and towels, and even has full size shamoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion in the bathrooms. For the important things that usually aren't mentioned in the listing: The internet was very fast, and we had no issues during out stay despite us using 5 phones, 3 laptops, and streaming on 2 tvs throughout the week. Also, the water pressure is fantastic. I was pleasantly surprised that we could take showers and run the dishwasher simultaneously without affecting the pressure or availability of hot water. This is one of the best rental properties we have ever encountered because it feels like India and Desmond are managing the property efficiently and truly care if you have a great stay. The moment we walked in, we were greeted with a hand-written note and snacks to welcome our family. The vibe that we got from the property is that this is a true rental property and not just somebody's house that is stripped of all personality and amenities. They even provide a few hygiene items in case you left something at home. We will definitely recommend to anyone staying in the area for future visits!! ##### Jennifer W.
