Before my arrival I requested no down bedding due to allergies. I had 4 down pillows on my bed. No answer at desk so I had to go there. The clerk said "Oh, so you need feather pillows?" Tired and very frustrated, I explained I called the hotel to make the request. He said I probably spoke to Expedia. I told him AGAIN I called the HOTEL. He continued to argue until I told him he was calling me stupid. He then assured me he would have non-feather pillows sent to my room. A nice man brought the pillows and apologized for the clerk’s attitude. The hotel was NOISY. Kids running, people talking and laughing in the hallway. At 1:15 I called the front desk to complain. It stopped shortly thereafter. Slamming and more noise began about 5:30. We went down to breakfast. No place to sit and no food. There was a tournament in town and the noise we heard the night before was players. They were eating as fast as the hotel staff could bring food out, heaping it on their plates. We gave up and went across the street to Denny's. When I checked out the same desk clerk from the night before asked how my stay was. When I told him it was horrible he said "Sorry to hear that" and went back to looking at whatever it was he was doing when I walked. We left the hotel exhausted, hungry and very dissatisfied with our experience there. We will never stay there again and I cannot recommend it to anyone else. We will call Hampton Inn corporate headquarters to complain about this location.
