We stayed 3 night pool access room last week, the room is nice and relax, but when we want to take a bath in the bathtub, we found that the bathtub is quite dirty, we try to fill some hot water to clean up the dirt, but the bathtub still quite dirty, we can't accept to use it further. I think hotel really need to improve the hygiene issue.
For the staff, most of the staff is nice but not detail minded, when we tell the reception we will have day tour on the next day, and request to help us to prepare a breakfast box, they rejected to do it for us, and suggest us to go earlier and prepare the breakfast ourselves. For my exp., a nice hotel will help us for it even we didn't request for it.
For the spa, the therapist's massage technique is good but not detail-minded too. eg.we did the spa in a couple room, they didn't use a scarf to cover when we turn around the body
"A quiet hotel off the main road that was amazing"
We both enjoyed our experience from the time we checked in, until the time we checked out. We stayed for 8 nights and found plenty to do, that was organized by reception staff and ourselves with no hassles. The rooms were spotless and spacious, bed was comfy and the bathroom was excellent, finally a hotel where the toilet and shower is in a separate area! The furniture and and atmosphere definitely represent the boutique hotel feel. The buffet breakfast was a small selection compared to some bigger hotels, however what they had was ample for what you need and still had plenty of variety. We did dine in a few nights at the restaurant and did enjoy the food with a reasonable selection. The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough to assist you in any way, they were fantastic. Overall a fantastic stay, and we would definitely come back in the future.
Situated within walking distance of Chiang Mai centre, Rimping Village Hotel is an oasis of tranquillity. Our rooms were situated right by the pool; they were clean and the beds were comfortable. The staff at the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful. For example, when we checked in they must have noticed that it was one of our party's birthday, for when we came back that evening, there was a birthday cake complete with candles waiting for him in the room. It was such a thoughtful touch.

My room was fantastic with a big comfy bed and all the amenities you would expect. Bathroom was lovely- thought the organic toiletries were a good touch. Both pools were well maintained, quiet and relaxing. Breakfast was a real treat- from ample fresh fruit and freshly made bread to a wealth of cooked options. Staff were always helpful and polite. Used the spa for a 3 hour package- the treatment was excellent, professional and well worth the slight extra cost to relax on site. Couldn't recommend this place more!
We had a nice three night stay here. The staff had minimal second language ability, but were very accommodating and did everything they could to help our stay be a nice one. The pool is swimmable, but as others had said a little awkward as it isn't a place to lounge around. The walk to the old city is about 15 minutes and at night is often a nice walk through a night market over the truss bridge. Overall nice, but would try to stay somewhere else next time. BTW- EXPEDIA SAID THERE IS BREAKFAST HERE, THERE IS NO BREAKFAST.
"Wonderful small hotel, very conveniently located!"
Easy to catch a taxi or tuk tuk, but walking distance to everywhere, Ringping supermarket next door, fantastic coffee shops across the street, 7-11 directly next door, massage right next door, wonderful bbq behind hotel…couldn't be better located.
The reception staff were so pleasant and helpful, the room was cleaned every day, free bottled water in room fridge each day. I wish a hotel like this were available in every city.
There is comfort too and bed but shower room is a little bit dirty. I think I smell rust while showering -_-". The location is improper to bring your car in (there is no parking area).
If you just want a cheap room for rest, this place is a good one.
