For the amount we paid, I expected a little more. The staff we encountered were all short and rude - not only with myself but with other guests as well. The pool was cloudy, dirty, and overly chlorinated. We were constantly stepping on things in the water that we couldn't tell what they were. It was disgusting. Our eyes were burning after spending time in the pool - not even going under! The hot tub was out of order even though the staff said it went out "today" it was clearly out of order for a while (other reviews state so) and they don't have any intention of fixing it. They should stop advertising it. The fact that you have to schedule housekeeping was only written in fine print and never stated any time during booking or check in. You only get housekeeping if you stay 7 days. It was inconvenient to have to keep going to the front desk for towels. They didn't keep the extra linens for the pull out sofa in the room so we had to go to the front desk for that too late at night as we realized it when we were making the bed for our son. Breakfast the first morning was subpar but better the second morning. Glad the selection changed. However, they need more than one waffle maker. There would be a huge line every morning and it was so inconvenient.

My suite was great! Very comfortable. The amenities this hotel offered were excellent. I especially loved the seating around the fire pit in the courtyard. I also found the staff and front desk to be helpful when I needed extra towels and dir3ctions to the ice machine. Next time I'm in Charlotte, I will definitely book here.

The breakfast could have been a little more enjoyable. Wanted oatmeal, packets were available, but no microwave to make it!!. Wanted a waffle, but only one machine and many people waiting on line for it. Coffee horrible, had to ask for milk. No cream. Place needed to be tidied up after people have breakfast. Firepit is nice would be great if they had more to enjoy so you don’t have to share with strangers Would be nice to have adult only swim time or hot tub for adults only- way too many kids for me in pool and hot tub is small so you can’t enjoy space as adult with kids like that. The room was nice and bed was comfortable. Parking was a bit of a problem. I found a small bug in my room - I looked it up it was a carpet beetle, I didnt see amy others. Pool and spa was nice. Breakfast was adequate. There was no place to put used dishes, I assume you just leave them on the tables?

We had an issue with the heat in our room. The customer service staff was very responsive to our issue and sent out a rep to fix it. When they realized they could not fix it, they rectified the situation with a new room at no cost to us. They went out of their way to make sure our family was comfortable. We can’t recommend this location enough!

Super convenient to expressways to get to Charlotte and SC destinations. Room with kitchenette was great- well supplied. Big frig. Saved us a lot of wasted time eating out. Bed was comfy and clean. Housekeeping was completed timely when requested. Loved the Happy Hours M-W. Good wine and fun appetizers. Lady helping there and at fort desk we’re so nice and helpful. Breakfasts were very good for a buffet and always hot. Gas station right on a nearby corner so we could fill up before returning rental car. Nice little store for extras in the gas station. I have to say this stay was superior to our stay the month prior at the Marriott across the street.

The service was great, very friendly staff. The sofa bed in our room was never changed. When we came into the room and opened it up for our child, the sheets from the last guest who had slept on it, were on there still from the last guest who slept on it. They were good about giving us the new sheets, but kind of grossed us out.

What you’d expect for the price.
We chose this hotel because it was affordable and has an indoor pool and hot tub. You do get what you pay for. Overall it was nice, but definitely outdated. It was generally clean, but old, so lots of stains in carpet, rusty spots around pool and water stains. We were told when we arrived that the only elevator wasn’t working and they only had third floor rooms- they did offer us free cancelation but we stayed and got our steps on. They only had one person working so if we ever needed anything, like linens for our pull out bed, we had to go get them ourselves. Great location. Just know that if you’re saving money, you’re putting more energy into your stay.

The room was great! My stay was nice. Clean & quiet hotel. However, my room barely had hot water and the hot tub was a cold tub. I booked this hotel because it had a hot tub and because of that reason I will not book again. Otherwise it is a nice option for the Charlotte area.

Loved the space in our room and had enough accommodations for 5 of us in our room with 2 beds, a pull out sofa bed, and the chaise lounge seat. They had a variety of options for the continental breakfast and it was a nice dining area we could spend time together. The pool was warm the first day and we got to use the hot tub the second day we were there. Our kitchen area was nice, well-supplied, had some cups and utensils. We had a great stay and the staff were very helpful and friendly.

Besides needing to get 2 remotes that weren’t in the suite, one shower drain being clogged, and there not being extra pillows for the pullout sofa it was an excellent stay for the family. We notified the front desk of the clogged drain and unclogged it ourselves in order to shower without it overflowing. The kids were fine using pillows that we weren’t using in the rooms. Front desk agent was friendly and understanding during our late arrival and room issues. Everyone loved the breakfast buffet. We would definitely stay again. The kids want to go back and stay longer than a night to enjoy the indoor pool.

When we got to our room the trash had not been emptied in the kitchenette and there were dirty dishes in the sink. While we booked a room for 7 there were only 4 towels and there were no sheets or pillows for the pullout. Other than this the room was okay. Breakfast was standard meh food-biscuits and gravy eggs for the hot item, bagels, bread, cereal and waffles.

Lay out was perfect for our family and shopping/dining is within walking distance. Staff was kind, breakfast was great. Only complaint other than some parts of the room being run down- the beds were hard as rocks! We switched hotels after one night because our backs and hips couldn’t take it.
