The staff was amazing very friendly very helpful. Love the shuttle service. They shuttle you wherever you need to go within the area. Breakfast was great. The only thing I did not like which was probably our fault was the room we chose a little outdated but overall great places to stay.

We booked this hotel for the convenience of having an airport shuttle. Upon arrival at Charlotte Douglas Airport, we had ti call 6 times before we could get ahold of someone to send the shuttle to pick us up. Then, upon check in the front desk said the shuttle for tomorrow morning is “sold out” and “full” and that we would need to find our own transportation to the airport. Very disappointing! If this is your “busy season” as the desk clerk’s reasoning was, then you should hire another shuttle. Not happy at all with this hotel and will not be staying here again. So many other options for hotels within airport proximity that actually honor their promise of complimentary airport transfers.
My flight was scheduled to arrive just after midnight so I called the hotel between flights at about 7 pm to confirm that I would be arriving after midnight. I was told that this would not be a problem. Unfortunately, my flight was delayed by an hour so I arrived at about 1 a.m. Upon my arrival I called to let them know so they could send the hotel shuttle as instructed in their email. I was promptly put on hold and someone else came on the phone to tell me that they didn’t have a room for me but they would send the shuttle to pick me up to take me to a sister property then hung up with no further information. When I called back I was hung up on again. The shuttle arrived 15 minutes later and after getting on the shuttle I coaxed more information out of the driver who finally confessed that the sister property was 30 minutes away and furthermore after I pressed further he admitted that the sister property did not have a shuttle and nor would they be providing one in the morning. I called the hotel again and was hung up on three more times. To make matters worse when I finally arrived in my room with less than three hours left to sleep I found the room was dirty and it was obvious someone had been in the bed. The only saving grace was there was another couple in the same situation and one was an attorney. Not one time was an apology offered

Staff is horrible. Bad smell in the hotel in general
Transportation was seamless from airport, great breakfast dining option, nice rooms and friendly staff.

We had several complaints. Had to wait 40 minutes for pickup up at airport, after repeated calls. Was told it was due to heavy traffic, but no other hotels appeared to have this same problem. When we were dropped off at airport in morning, we were dropped off at departures and had a long walk to where we had to check in, totally unnecessary.
Unreliable shuttle services and ineffective staff communication. Lobby furniture needs to be replaced. Overall this facility does not meet IHG standards.
Call to get a shuttle for the hotel, and they told me it would take about 15 minutes. 35 minutes later a shuttle bus came. The shuttle came and in seconds it was full. The driver said she would be back in five minutes. 20 minutes later she showed up and drove us to the hotel. When I got there, there was a long line for Check In and had to wait another 30 minutes to get checked in. So as you can see, it took an hour and 25 minutes from my phone call at the airport about 9:30 PM till I got to my room. Very disappointing after a long trip.
Very convenient location to CLT airport. Shuttle is offered, but plenty of taxi’s if you do not want to wait around to be picked up ($15). Breakfast and dinner offered and kitchen is open until 11pm for those who check in late.

I called the property 1 hour or so after making the reservation to cancel it. The front desk told me I could make a cancellation at no charge - despite the stipulation otherwise on expedia...as it was a same day cancellation. She said I needed to call Expedia to cancel. Expedia has since contacted your hotel and you refused the cancellation and refund.
Not consistent! And disappointing.

Easy check in. Clean facility. A little loud due to the proximity of the airport and so many planes coming and going but the convenience of being that close was worth it. A few exits from dining and outlet mall.
