I was shocked to e charged 75$ just for the cat. They call it "pet friendly" ??? This is an isolated place, no restaurants, nothing to do. Terrible Disappointing !!!

Booked months ago and they gave me a hearing inpaired room . Table had pizza sauce on it, sofa bed had food inside. Had previously said 4 guests linens for only 2 people.

Had no issues at all. Some of the wood furniture is getting older, but the whole place was great, room was clean and great, slept good, no noise. Great experience!

I stay at this hotel every time I go to my parent's house in Michigan. I always have my pets with me, and it's a great location to take him on a walk in the morning. Love the layout, staff is always great. Highly recommend.

I was extremely surprised and upset with the pet fee… $75 on top of the single night reservation cost. I own a 18 month female yorkipoo who is potty trained. I have paid $25 for having a pet at a hotel, but never this much. When I reserved my room (about 90 min prior to arrival), I saw that this place was ‘pet friendly,’ yet had no idea as to the extra fee. If I would’ve known, I would’ve made other accommodations. I’m still quite irritated with this crazy charge.

Everyone who works here is extremely friendly. After a long day of traveling, it's nice to be greeted by a friendly face. This is our second stay and we'll continue to choose this hotel for our stay. We have 2 dogs and the design of the facility makes it very easy to travel with them. The breakfast is also tasty and has many choices.

Unfortunately this place has went really down hill, the room was dirty, old shower curtain, bed wasn’t comfortable, TV was old and not clear, very few channels.

Everything was excellent except for check-in when I had to wait for 30 minutes while the receptionist could not locate our reservation from Expedia. Then he had to call Expedia. It was late and my family was tired. Once checked in things went well. The room was excellent other than a stain on the carpet near the sink and missing bedding for the pull-out sofa that we had to retrieve from the front desk since only one staff member was on duty.

Been to a lot of these breakfast- included hotels...and this breakfast was really much better than even more expensive hotels. Not a ton of options, but those they had were well-executed. Room was perfect for our needs - a family of 5 with one member who needs to be separated from the rest for sensory issues. 2 separate bedrooms/baths, plus shared middle space made this a perfect setup for our crew.

What a great suite! Not high end, but clean, comfortable, and nicely furnished. The working fireplace was perfect and cozy on the cold night. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I’ll definitely stay again.

This was away from downtown, so quiet...except for someone's barking dog! Easy to get to, once we realized it was out of the way. The 2 br suites are ideal for single people traveling together. The lady in breakfast area was so sweet and kind. The light in bedroom needed bulbs, but otherwise all was ok.

Other reviews complained about the location. Yes, it's a little "off the beaten path," but that's fine! It's two minutes off the highway and you can't hear any traffic! The property is spotless, and the bed is very comfortable. I don't like the pillows at all. Very good breakfast buffet. Potatoes are not worth trying, and the coffee is really terrible, but the rest is really good! Lots of choices - eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, hot oatmeal, pancakes, packaged coffee cake and donuts, plus other little additions. We'll be staying here again on our next visit.

The staff was so friendly and professional. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a good variety of choices and prepared well. Room was quiet and very clean. I especially note this because I stayed in a Wyndham property in Georgia and there were bugs! in the room. I called the County Health Department the next day and now the property is Closed! Keep up the good work Sonesta ES Suites!

Fleas and filth
If fleas and filth are your kind of thing, then this is the hotel for you! First room they put me in was so filthy I had to ask to be moved, and the second room had fleas crawling on me within five minutes of sitting on the couch. Do yourself a favor and keep scrolling!
