We even offered to pay extra and they refused. The house itself was super clean, AC was a big relief from the July weather, and the location was ideal for exploring King street and the nearby restaurants. There is a big construction project going on nearby, but the noise was not disruptive and did not negatively impact our experience. It served its purpose of being close to King St, and walking distance to lots of Charlestons attractions. It was clean, well appointed, and comfortable. The management team was responsive throughout the check in/out process. Reasoning for 2 stars on accuracy of the listing is due to the construction that is not “nearby”, it’s directly next to the property, which led to disturbances. The management team was extremely understanding of the distruption to our trip. I would completely stay at at this property again, but only after the project behind it is finished.
