I arrived at the hotel for checkin on April 9, 2024 for my reservation consisting of 2 rooms. I was told they only had 1 room reserved for me. Me, my husband, and daughter were left with no option but to try and find another hotel room at 8:00 at night. They staff offered my no help whatsoever. I had already paid for 2 rooms. They claimed they were booked. I thankfully got a room at the Marriott across the street. I’ve never been offered a refund for my reservation either. Terrible experience to say the least.

Its the best location for everything and walking distance to civic center WE WILL ALWAYS STAY HERE WHEN SEEING CONCERTS!!!

Stuck on one of the top floors several times due to an elevator not working properly. I will make this clear. We were not trapped on the elevator but on the floor.

My bed sheets were not changed. There was body hair from the previous tenant all through out the bedding. It was Aabsolutley gross. The fronk desk person was able to put me in a new room thank God

We stayed for three days over Christmas . Our room was not cleaned once during our stay. I understand finding and keeping staff is difficult for everyone. The service industry has changed drastically in the last few years and not for the better. We will choose another place to stay for our next visit.

Thank you for your feedback. May I ask if you had your do not disturb sign on your door? If you did we will not come in your room. You would have to ask for service. I do apologize for the inconvenience. We just started or new stayover service and are currently working out all the issues.

Rebekah working the check in desk was quick and informative. Perfect combo after a 6 hour drive. 😊 Breakfast (free) had a good selection and make your own waffles.

Great rooms and staff. However, I have never seen worse luggage carts in any hotel or condo I’ve stayed in worldwide. Plan to roll or carry your bags.

The room we stayed in our first night had a broken heater and the window blind could not be raised. The refrigerator was completely iced over in the back. I'm not sure if the thermostat was working or not. We asked to change rooms for our second night. The staff was kind and gave us a room which was nicer. The bed was good, and that's an important thing!

The staff was pleasant and offered assistance when needed, Tara checked us in on a busy day and she was so nice. The hotel was in walking distance to The Coliseum. The free breakfast had plenty of hot and cold items. I enjoyed my stay in Charleston.

Don't stay here, the people that work here, up to the "manager" are all crooks. Up to this point, they were clearly avoiding my correspondences. I really think that the front desk was trying to hide it. We were charged an $80 pet fee for staying there for one night, we didn't know until we were at the front desk and checked in. We couldn't back out because the reservation through Expedia was non-refundable. The room was dirty and our bathroom tub was not draining. I couldn't address this upon check-out because we were in a rush to leave that morning so I followed up through phone calls and emails. Three weeks had gone by and still no response. I finally got a hold of the "manager" this morning and she was literally yelling at me and hung up on me mid sentence because I kept finding flaws in what she was telling me about pet fees through Expedia and about how her hotel room's bathtubs were not draining, very disgusting and unsanitary. I can write a whole essay about this in details but I won't. Bottom line, DO not stay here. Staff and management are horrible. They treat you like you're trash that needs to be thrown away. PLUS their rooms are OLD, DIRTY, and bathtubs DO not drain.

Rivers around the building are very scenic. They advertise pet friendly then charge exorbitant extra for pet, exorbitant and not upfront a hidden cost, there statements it was hampton if true Ill do my best to never stay at one again. Pet owners should avoid this crooked hotel expedia should flag it
