Staff was very rude, specifically Kendra. Peoperty is being renovated and so there are exposed wires, the part of the room doors where you tap your key card were missing covers on every door. Much less of a comfortable experience than expected.

My stay was great. Downfall of all amenities currently closed due to hotel renovations. The hotel is very near to the Airport which is great but located on the path of the runway therefore you will not get the best of sleep with the engine noise.

This property appears to be upgraded but with minimal modifications. The ceilings are cracking and falling, the shower door is a mirror, but is coming off the hinges(not safe), the light to the bathroom is turned on by the same light for the room(you can’t use one without the other), the shower has a glass window in it that faces the room( completely see through). We checked in on Saturday afternoon with a booking through Monday morning, not once did the staff advise that the water will be turned off from 11pm-7am until the day of and just by a paper under the door with a disconnected number to contact the assistant manager(Unacceptable) I did not pay for a room to have running water, especially when this was a planned repair that should’ve taken place the week prior and was changed. Management had plenty of time to prepare and advise consumers upon arrival, instead just took our money with no remorse. To top it off I have two pending charges for $100 for which I have no clue why and when I called to acquire information I was provided a number to Canada to have it fixed. For the record, that number doesn’t even work. This is the most ridiculousness I’ve ever experienced in a hotel. We will not be staying again.

The staff members are incredibly friendly and accommodating. 10/10 on that. The property itself is just okay. Upon arrival, there was a homeless man and woman with a shopping cart out front trying to argue with a gentleman that was probably telling them to get off the property and they were around there later as well but in the back of the hotel. The hotel room needs updating, which they were also renovating the 2nd floor so hopefully they’re going to update the rest.

I thought there was a minimum viable standard if you’re going to carry the Marriott brand. I know alofts are not the top of the line but this was gross. Rooms and hallways were dated and dirty. I didn’t feel safe as the key thing on the door was an exposed computer chip (not by design -it looked like someone started installing the lock the quit) The front desk attendant upon checkin took a few min to show up but at least he was present in our interaction. From there on out the person at the desk (when out there) was on her cell phone the whole time and seemed bothered by guests asking questions. The one bright spot was the airport shuttle driver when I returned for my car (after my return flight). He was pleasant and accommodating. I had booked another night to stay on my return to avoid a long drive home in the dark. I ended up canceling my reservation and paying the full Cxl fee to stay somewhere else.

The lobby will fool you. The place is under construction. We were supposed to stay for 3 nights, but it was so loud during the construction that we left a day early. The manager told us she couldn't refund us for the last day because we booked through a 3rd party, so we contacted hotels.com. but we end up with no refund.

The room was nice. You can see it has been under renovation. The ceiling in our room had been scraped but not freshly repaired. The toilet was an older toilet that is really short.

the first night the room had a black mold curtain in the shower, the water was so weak you could not wash. The water was either hot or cold no happy medium or adjustment While trying to take a shower a black bug came out of the drain. Attempts to repair didn't take place until the next morning. None were accomplished except the removal of the black mold shower curtain.The next day I was moved to another room and the shower still had no water pressure and when I got up to use the restroom I stepped on a 3inch long cockroach I showed the staff the bug the next morning.

When I arrived to check in, the two people manning the desk (latin girl/white guy) must have been completely zonked from a long day. There attention to be the face of the front wasn't at all Marriott's brand. I would almost say a stitch of rudeness; however a manager came up and she was very pleasant. She even made a comment regarding their disposition to make it clear that I am not being difficult. The room was very comfortable but it had a very strong smell of bleach. I just took it as being very clean. The next day, the staff was amazing; night and day. Checkout was superb and they seem to enjoy the art of making peoples day more pleasant. Considering I was there for my sisters home going service, they brightened the start of my day. Thank you to them and if I had their names I would say them. You guys can find out and let them know how much I appreciated them.

Cool property, but not well maintained at all. Wall damage, dirty tile grout, etc, the hotel is showing it’s hard use and lack of attention to detail with appearance and maintenance. Advertising boasts an amazing looking breakfast except said breakfast is self serve on the go, packaged items.

Excellent place to stay
The bed was super comfy! I didn’t wake up stiff in need of a heating pad. All of the staff were very friendly.

The hotel is under renovation but the staff still was friendly and helpful. Hopefully they'll put in non skid treads in the showers.

Great beds and service, but bring a charging block
Pros: the service (front desk and shuttle) was OUTSTANDING and the bed was super comfy for our overnight stay. Cons: evidently our room was "pre-renovation" so the room phone didn't work to call downstairs. There was also a lack of anywhere to plug a USB cable for charging. Luckily the front desk was able to find a spare block.

AVOID ROOMS NEAR THE ELEVATORS!
AVOID ROOMS NEAR THE ELEVATORS! My room was near the elevators (an accessible room) and the mechanism for the elevators was soooooo loud I could hardly sleep without being awoken every time someone used it. The room was ok, it had everything I needed, but the curtain by the bathroom (for the closet) was torn and the tear was stapled with office staples, that didn’t look very good.
