We had a situation with our rental car and they had a staff member walk to where we had parked the car and he actually drove our rental car back to the hotel and then called the guy we rented the car from and asked him to come by the hotel to pick up the car. "I don't really stay in resorts so I don't have much to compare. The grounds, facilities and rooms were immaculate and the staff was super friendly and helpful. The view from my room was stunning and the beach was also immaculate. Some things did come up that made my stay a little less enjoyable. This is an alcohol free resort, this was my fault for not realizing but there were restaurants nearby that served alcohol We left our previous hotel to catch a flight to Zanzibar at 4am. We arrived at the hotel starving. Unfortunately it was in between breakfast and lunch so no food options. We were advised that there were restaurants that serve all day which was not the case for us. We went door to door and were told 12:30. We finally found one and it took 1 hr and 15 minutes for our food which was past 12:30! We would have been fine with a premade sandwich Other minor things, we could not have 2 keys for our room so my friend and I couldn't really do our own thing without one of us being locked out. It also would have been helpful to have an ATM nearby. We wanted to leave tips but ran of of cash"
