Hotel is kinda cute. cardboard walls. You can hear everything from the other rooms including the toilet part. Staff is extremely ignorant. They do not have the caliber of hôtel to support their attitude. Simply avoid that place. Not worth it.

The Orangerie and the Chateau were lovely old buildings set in a large garden. It was very quiet and peaceful. The staff and service were excellent and the restaurant was outstanding. The pool and spa were not available as work was being carried out at the time we stayed there.

Hello sir, thank you for your feedback. Indeed, due to the current situation, we have suffered nearly 2 months of delay in terms of delivery of raw material (granite) for the making of the beaches of our outdoor swimming pool. Fortunately, we were able to proceed quickly upon receipt of the elements, and the swimming pool today delights young and old! We thank you for your understanding and hope to be able to welcome you again very soon to make you fully enjoy it! We hope to see you soon, sincerely!

It is a nice hotel and nice pool, however the service wasn't really acceptable, except for the Reception Staff, who were all very helpful. The scrambled eggs and sausages were completely cold and I mentioned this to the staff, who replaced them with more completely cold scrambled eggs and sausages. No apology was made or any attempt to rectify the matter. I saw other people with the same issues. No coffee/tea was offered at the tables. On this basis we decided not to eat in the evening or again in the morning.

we booked the hotel as we are on a motorbike trip and when we get to the hotel we need to lock up bikes and forget for eve that's why we choose hotels with resturants when we arrived having booked the orangery because its modern and more to our liking. we were told we were upgraded in the castle as orangery was full (strange since I booked months ago)and there was no room in restaurant's (two off) because we cant feed you we have upgraded you,. no room service ,no snacks nothing. the room I did not feel was a upgrade it was not tastefully done the décor fitments did not reflect a chateau more a 1970 cheap with coir carpet and the bathroom was mouldy on all grouting on floor and walls the shower was middle of bath with the shower screen on end? there was a mini bar where you could buy water but no water supplied in room free . it was hot and stuffy in room if you had the fan on it kept you awake with noise if you opened the window the road outside kept you awake in was in quite a built up area we were so disappointed by the hotel we checked out as soon as we woke not bothering with the 30 euro basic breakfast which they had room for us in the restaurant to take in the morning. I would not have booked this hotel had I known they did not keep tables in resturants for guests or even email and ask if you required one like many of the other hotels did we stayed in. the nearest restaurant was downhill 20 mins but you need to like fish as fish restaurant but that was very good

Dinner? Sorry, that's off!
Four star? Not like any 4 star I have ever stayed at! And unfortunately I booked a 3 night stay. They advertise a restaurant AND a brasserie - but that is only for hotel guests if they don't have any other bookings. There is nothing close by so you are completely stuck. I went on a wild goose chase to find a restaurant they said was within walking distance. Not within 30 minutes, I can assure you. So I came back, and after much persuading and pleading they gave me a small plate of bread and cheese for dinner to eat in my room - no idea what it will cost! See below for picture. And that was my lovely French evening - sitting on a (small) bed eating stale bread and cheese. Sad! Not helpful, not nice, not recommended. P.S. Wifi is terrible, it keeps dropping out. They can't do anything about it apparently. And I can't get the TV to work!

Beautiful facility and grounds. Superb food. Room was a bit warm, but opening window meant letting bugs in as well as smoke from guests who smoked outside the building. Recommend smokers be rewuired to go 50 feet from the buiding

Not a good night!
Whilst being in a wonderful position, and the buildings themselves were truly beautiful, However, the main purpose of a hotel stay is to get a comfortable nights sleep. Here however, I think that we experienced the most uncomfortable bed encountered on our travels. It was very very hard, The pillow cases had been starched and ironed to the extent where you could almost cut yourself on the creases! The wi fi continuously dropped out. (very annoying) and the taps / sink area in the bathroom were missing large areas of mastic / caulking. But certainly the most prevelant problem was the uncomfortable bed / bedding.

Great Chateau close to St. Emillion wineries
This is an amazing Chataeu in France very close to Saint Emilion wine country. The concierge was extremely friendly and helpful. We had the breakfast which was great with a large variety of foods including fresh fruit, granola, eggs, croissants and coffee. The room was super and had the amenities one would need while traveling. Great place to stay!

A one night stopover
After a long drive of 5 hours to get there it was lovely to pull in to the beautiful chateau. WE were in the cheaper Orangerie building but it was still lovely. We ate in the Bistro restaurant and the food was delicious. We would like to go back for a longer stay.

1 Nuit à l’orangerie
J’ai passé une nuit à l’orangerie. Le cadre est sympathique avec le château et la cour qui sont très jolis. Par contre à mon avis cela ne vaut pas 4 étoiles. Le confort de la chambre reste minimal avec un lit/oreillers qui datent un peu. Idem pour la salle de bain. Le petit déjeuner n’est clairement pas à la hauteur non plus (les viennoiseries étaient quasi inexistantes, peut être un mauvais timing lors de mon passage mais tout de même) De manière générale, le cadre est agréable pour ceux qui aime les châteaux mais cela ne vaut pas à mon sens les (quasi) 100 eur la nuit pour une chambre basique

Pas de Clim ce qui est inadmissible pour 100€ la nuit, juste un ventilateur pour dormir. Porte de placard cassé. 3 punaises (insectes) dans le rideau de la fenêtre. Très mal isolé, on entend tout. Point positif : le cadre et le petit dej.

Pas de bar, absence de petits salons où lire, écrire, se reposer! Manque de coordination au petit déjeuner! Pas de chaises longues dans le parc qui, pourtant en certains endroits, est magnifique! Jardin mal entretenu…très dommage! Merci à la réception qui nous a offert une suite pour le prix d‘une minuscule chambre!

Très beau lieu et personnel sympathique à l’accueil comme au restaurant. La chambre est à spacieuse mais à renouveler pour sa décoration. La salle de bain est vieillissante, le débit d’eau de l’an douche est catastrophique et certain éléments se décrochent. Pour le repas au restaurant, entrée plat et dessert obligatoire on ne peut choisir c’est dommage mai excellent.
