We chose the hotel because this area of Tours is a convenient second stop on our journey home from the Northern Costa Blanca to the UK, with our two dogs. The hotel is relatively cheap, pet friendly (there is a small charge for each pet) and has wifi - our three main criteria! This hotel suited us but we found that although we booked a bigger room (for three) there was not much room to move around with two dogs in the room - for sure the smaller room would have been worse!
The hotel was clean, the reception is open 24 hours, the staff were very nice and there are lots of eateries in the area. There is nothing more we really needed.

Immaculate room, bathroom looked brand new! As others have said, the room is a bit small, but good enough for my needs.
Sadly I didn't get to try the restaurant, breakfast was ok, traditional French choices, despite being 1/2 French myself I far prefer an English fry up ;).
Very quiet location at night at least (was out during the day), comfy bed & I slept well. My somewhat outdated satnav found it easily (just 50ft short?), doing it by map alone would be a nightmare as it's roundabout city!
At 6 miles from the centre it would be a long walk! But obviously no problem by car or bus. Easy free parking btw.

If you want a simple hotel with parking, wifi and ossibility to eat breakfast and dinner, Kyriad is always a good bet. They aer almost always on a peripheral road which is convenient but not exactly attractive.

A very comfortable, modern hotel with a room big enough for two adults and two children (without them having to share a bed. Table tennis outside and free internet was a definite hit with older children. We were also pleasantly surprised with good vegetarian options on the menu (not always easy in France!). the staff were polite and helpful. We loved the recycled garden furniture - definitely a project when we get home.
A small scale 3 storey motel benefitting from very friendly staff, clean modern rooms at affordable prices and an on-site restaurant. Unusually for France rooms are supplied with tea & coffee making facilities and Wifi that works.
Breakfast is available but expensive, likewise the restaurant is very pricey and the food I ordered didn't merit the costs. Expect to pay approx twice the price for the equivalent food that I enjoyed in similar establishments in Spain.
The adjacent retail park also features a number of overpriced chain restaurants, expect to pay around 20 euros for a plate featuring more than just the basic meat or fish dishes.
We were very happy with our stay here. The room was updated and very clean. Our room had a queen bed below and a child-sized bunk above. The underground parking was a nice touch with elevator access to and from the floors. The neighborhood was pretty decent with tons of shopping and restaurants to suit your needs. It was close to Paris without being in Paris. We would consider staying here again on our next trip to France.
The staff were first class they could not have been more helpful.
The hotel was extremely clean and tidy. The room was comfortable and functional. We sat in the garden and had a glass of wine before having a very good evening meal. If required the supermarket is just 3 minutes away.
If you are ever in the area this is the place to stay.

Once a rural village known mainly for its agriculture and wine, Chambray-les-Tours is now a small yet lively town, having developed rapidly since the 1970s. The dramatic Chateau de la Branchoire is the area's main attraction, which was opened up to the public in 2011. The green space in the area makes it a great location for outdoor activities.
