Major fire incident
Hotel is fire-damaged. The place stinks of smoke. The restaurant no longer exists so there's no breakfast (burnt down). The internet didn't work for a whole day. One whole wing of the hotel is closed. Aircon was minimal. No English programmes on the TV to compensate for the lack of Wi-Fi. i had to spend much of the time outside where there was Wi-Fi in cafes and so on. No warning given or rebate offered. i advise not booking here for the foreseeable future.

Tv in the room next door on at volume for 16 hours, do not disturb on the door. No answer when knocked on. Reception said room was empty from day before. Nobody had been in the room for 20 hours. Reception staff miserable and unhelpful

The staff were marvellous especially the bar lady who went out of her way for me. The breakfast was good. i loved the lifts as well as having a fridge and safe in the room

I arrived very late and the receptionist was able to answer my question with a smile. It’s my second time to this hotel and I enjoy my stay. Definitely I will come back again. Good location and the price is right.

Good: Nice forum and over all feel of the hotel. Friendly staff and a nice little bar. Large rooms. Excellent central location. Bad: Overall repair level requires an investment. eg. broken doors and hinges. Old key system. Beds are VERY uncomfortable. They need to invest into new pillow top mattresses. Rooms are sparse.

Great location in town center. Easy walking to everything. Premium grade room was comfortable and nice size. Cons: Check-in process was slow. Restaurant/kitchen take siesta. TV only has channels in Spanish.

Except the reception agent all the rest is below expectations,The cleanliness of the room is ok but the conditions is very bad.you feel that we do not take care of the rooms but the lobby yes .great location ,staff smiling and helpful.

If I need to go to Ceuta again, wont be at this hotel. I have been in this hotel before, and honestly I dont know what happened. There are lots of things to improve: -The water pressure is really low. -The water temperature was not enough hot (Almost cold). -We asked for an extra pillow, because the pillows are really thin, and they told us... We dont have more pillows.. awesome... (what if I have a problem with my actual pillow?.. ) -The Ac was not working and was really hot inside the bedroom.

Good choice for a clean, safe, updated hotel
Good choice located on main shopping street for this walkable city. Staff was very helpful. Garage parking worth the price as its right under the hotel. Buffet breakfast nice and only 9 euro, not 12 as listed. All locals and street signs know this as the Tryp hotel, so keep that in mind. AC didnt work the 1st night but ok for the 2nd. Safe and Very clean throughout. Although we asked for a room facing the street for the view, the noise from people on the street wasnt worth it so we changed to a rear room which they said had twin beds, but they were together so it was like having a King Size bed. It was great to see hotel management so involved and present.

This was our second stay at this hotel. Nice rooms and great location! The only negative is that the wifi does not work very well in the rooms, however the wifi works fine in the lobby and lounge areas.

Overall it was a nice hotel, my only complaint is the air conditioning was not enough to keep up with cooling the whole room. I woke up several times to take a cold shower to cool off. Next time I go, I hope it isn't so hot

Great location. Bad service and rooms
Great location in Ceuta. Convenient and nice hotel. However, the service is not that great and don't believe the pictures of the rooms they definetly not look that great. Also, parking is not valet as stated here, but you park the car and bring your luggage up yourself in a very small underground parking and very tiny elevator.

Spacious, Clean Rooms with all basic amenities. Higly Recommended to all! Although Parking at the hotel can be limited and you might have to park at the nearest public parking, approx. EUR15/Day.

Nice hotel, excellent price/quality ratio
We spent ine night and everything went well. The receptionist was very welcoming and helpful. The rooms were very clean, and the beds comfortable. We ordered room service and were very please with the food and the service. One small hiatus, there was some noise coming from the street...it was Saturday night though.

Standard hotel, convenient location
TRYP Ceuta is to me a standard hotel, conveniently located. Noise from the street below can be a bit loud. Service is fine, though I was annoyed when I waited 5 minutes at the front desk to pose a question, someone else arrived after I did, and the front desk personnel then assisted them even though it was obvious I was next in the queue (I complained and was issued an apology). Note that hotel apparently has parking, but there is nothing noted in the confirmation email from hotels.com that states this. Very frustrating to drive around for a half hour looking for parking, only to find out that the hotel could have accommodated me. I'm not convinced that I'll return to this hotel in the future.
