"A well placed hotel for visiting the city. Lovely art deco designs are everywhere, and the hotel has real character. Arriving during a yellow warning heatwave, the air conditioning in the room made for a pleasant night’s sleep. Breakfast was quiet varied, with a hot food option in the form of bacon and eggs. The real highlight was the help we received from the hotel staff. They were engaging, and able to answer our queries about where places were, and how to get about using the public transport in and around the city. Certainly worth staying here."

If you have an early start, beware that breakfast is from 8.00am, and we had to order a breakfast box, which isn’t ideal; l have fed back that breakfast should start earlier from 6.30am for a continental style. Good location and next to the old town and main street"
