Disappointing

Hotel entrance is not on the same road as the physical address and the only thing pointing to where it is is an incredibly faded flag on the corner. I called the hotel and said we couldn't find it and they acted like I was crazy. I find it hard to believe I'm the only one with this issue. When I asked the woman who checked us in what the deposit was for incidentals, she had no idea. Started to try and add it on a calculator and then went to call someone. I told her to forget it. It's not a big deal as we knew we wouldn't use anything but it would be nice to know what hold you putting on my card. Our floor tile in our bathroom was falling apart. Literally. 6+ tiles were not secure to the ground. Shower stall felt like you were going to fall onto the floor below and our smoke detector was covered in plastic wrap. Room size was great just not what I expect from a Sheraton. Very disappointing.

close to historical sites, not so nice of a walk

Easy walk to historical sites- but you have to walk through homeless people sleeping on the ground to get back. Hotel was ok- nice people at the desk- but dirty carpets on the hall floors, overpowering cleaner smells and a rickety toilet. Couldn't find the free breakfast we paid for- and the food was cold when we finally were granted our free breakfast. I think We could have gotten more for my money elsewhere.

Decent place to sleep...not to hang out.

Pros: Nice updated decor.
Cons: Larger beds. Better AC.
Location: Reading Market is close...As well as the convention center.
We were attracted by the lower price...you get what you pay for. Its very inner city around the hotel. Lots of homeless people all around the property. Had to walk-through their encampments to get to the Reading Market and points further.

The sink made a noise like a pipe needed desperate repair and the phone didn't connect to the front desk when I called about it. Room needs carpet refresh and some general updates.

Nice clean comfortable room. Parking was a bit expensive but overall was completely satisfied with my stay.

Bad Experience

At least two other guests were assigned the same room and they barged into the room. My keys wouldn't work. Room was clean. You would know about the missing refrigerator and Microwave after you book the hotel.

Cons: China cups
Pretty standard hotel, very big room. Good omelet, stale croissant, paper cups.
