Have stayed at Hampton Inns before and this was much like the others except that the room was a lot smaller then others. The king size bed took up most of the room. There was about a three foot area around the bed to walk. Only place to sit was at the small desk. Ran out of tissue the first night and was never replaced. The breakfast was very tasty. Staff that served was very slow. One morning did not open up until 6:20. Was suppose to open up at 6:00. Came done one morning and the coffee was empty at 7:00am. Same morning there were no forks out. Took staff 10 minutes to put out more.
It was a quick overnight stay before heading up to Golden, CO. Check-in was easy. The staff was great and personable. The room was clean and very comfortable. I really enjoyed the taste of the coffee in our room. The breakfast buffet was filling, they served "real" orange juice and the dining area was clean. The stairs leading up to the second floor could use a deep clean. The elevator was clean and no weird noises. The only thing that would have made this one night stay better would have been a pool to relax and taken a quick swim after our long drive and shopping. There is a small hot tub that was full with 4 people.
