We only stayed for 1 night. This hotel is a top. I have never stayed in such a gorgeous place before. We got an upgrade to a deluxe room. Clean, spacious, modern, quite,... Breakfast was great. Lots of options to choose from. Gym and spa we did not have time to use. I would Recommend to stay there. Water in the swimming could be a bit warmer thou. Great views. We loved it!!!

Incredible stay!
Beautiful hotel, amazing spots to relax but the gorgeous pool, or at the reef bar where you could swim in the sea. Perfect location, a short 20 min walk into town. The hotel has its own beach spot too, with a free shuttle. All the staff were so friendly and helpful, just an amazing stay, highly recommend!

Beautiful Hotel
It is a beautiful 5 start hotel or resort. We stayed 2 nights and felt not enough. We should have planned a longer stay to fully feel the place. The view is magnificent . It is located right in the front of ocean. You can step down to swim in the ocean when weather is suitable. The service is excellent and free breakfast included is just nothing you can complain . It is a very high quality hotel.

The entire staff was top notch. Every person was kind. I work at a hotel myself and know this is not an east job. Professional and welcoming to two tourists who had lit5le knowledge of the area. I also want to thank the restaurant and staff. We only stayed for two nights during a two week trip. Our dinner with you was by far our favorite and most tasty of the whole trip! Thank you.

Cefalu is beautiful and the hotel was lovely. Unfortunately, there was an odor as you entered the room. The staff sort of blew the complaint off and blamed it on the wind direction, Although the room was very small, it was immaculate and comfortable. The odor seemed to come from the AC, so we tried not to use it. The facilities were gorgeous with a beautiful pool and access to the sea. Outdoor dining during the rain was less than ideal, but the food and service were great.

Really enjoyed the facilities at the hotel- there is a free shuttle to the beach club which is private as well as an on site area to sun bathe and swim in the sea. Breakfast was exemplary with a stunning view.

1 Night Stay At Le Calette
Our overall experience at Le Calette was brief (1 night) it was a great experience. We stayed in a "Club Room" which was an average room at best, but the highlights are the property where we were able to use the pool, waterfront beach club, gym, and dining (Cala Luna). All of which were excellent. We would recommend staying for more than 1 night in order to use all the amenities to their fullest.

Not as nice as expected
Not so good -- given the price that we paid, it was a bad deal. Our room was a long walk from reception, basic and not in good condition. The train was passing just a few meters away from the building where our room was, and we heard really disturbing noise quite a few times, even during the night. Bathroom was rather bad. Breakfast was served in the garden with a nice view, and was fine. It took effort to get to the swimming area -- the hotel does not have a real beach- but once you arrive to the sea area, the arrangements are comfortable. Another issue is that the hotel is rather far from Cefalu city, not possible to walk, and no good transfer arrangements, so one has to use taxi.

Beautiful but ok service.
Loved the location being so private and beautiful. We did have a broken lamp in the room when we got there, and there were ants and bugs in the closet. We also had poor quality shampoo, and then I noticed that guests in other rooms had shampoo, conditioner, body wash provided. We loved the restaurant service, but the menu was misleading - Caesar salad came with apples/avocado/walnuts which was really confusing.

Sicilian paradise!
This is a lovely hotel in a spectacular location overlooking the sea, just on the outskirts of Cefalu. It's a 20 minute walk into town, but a lovely coastal path with restaurants along the way. Comfortable rooms and the option of swimming pool or lovely decking area with direct access to the sea.

A lovely week at Le Calette. Friendly and helpful staff. The hotel was in its last week before shutting down for the winter so felt a little empty at times, but that meant we had the run of the place!

The setting of the hotel was absolutely beautiful. We spent a significant amount of time at the pool and in the water. This was a very good thing considering how small our room was! The walls were also VERY thin. We could hear everything the people in the adjacent room were saying and doing. Our shower head was broken. When we alerted the staff, they unsuccessfully tried to repair it. There was no shampoo or conditioner in the room. For what we were paying, I was very surprised that this basic amenity was missing. Considering how much time we spent in the pool, this was a serious deficiency. The breakfast was very good as was dinner. We enjoyed our stay.

Set in lovely grounds with a lovely pool and beautiful jetty onto private cove area but with no beach area. I stayed here 3 years ago and the only disappointment is the regular electricity failures and hence loss of air con in room plus poor WiFi. Also, the bar snacks haven’t changed in 3 years

Probably the best beach resort in Sicily!
This hotel was so incredibly nice that we only left the grounds to go to their private beach faculty across town! I’ve travelled extensively, and this is easily one of my favourite places to stay in the world. The staff are just wonderful, the pool area is perfect, the food is excellent, the rooms are typical of Europe and quite small but incredibly comfortable, the location is safe/ private/ secure... oh, and I had an incredible spa experience in a cabana overlooking their beautiful private beach ‘wild cove’. Throughout the summer the resort hosts a party in the grounds on s Saturday night, which can be loud, but it is well advertised in advanced and the hotel gives you a VIP wrist band to attend if you like. I went with my 16yr old as did many others old/ young/ families and we had soooo much fun! We were literally treated like VIPs. When we went back to our room which was just next to the party, we could barely hear the noise and the party goers were never anywhere near the rooms or private grounds. I have no idea why this would be a problem to anyone staying here as long as you are aware. I don’t often re visit hotels as I like to keep discovering new places to write about, however I have a feeling that Calette and I will become lifelong friends! Do not hesitate to book this hotel, I am nearing the end of a 3 week Sicily adventure, and all I can think about is La Calette!
