The staff are friendly and the place is good but it's far from the Main Street so we have to walk meters away to get taxi. Well, when it comes to financial reason the place is an ideal one.

There were cocroach in the room...i asked help to one of their staff for their tv he just told me he will follow later but did not bother to check...wifi is poor..breakfast is poor....

Not good
No elevator, phone is not functioning, no power outlets, small bed, old tv, lots of bedbugs. I got 6 bedbug bites. The linens are very itchy. Small room. Shower not functioning and no hot or cold water. Air con is not that cold. Packed breakfast was not given to us since we checked out early.

Location is good in that it is close to many restauarants and attractions such as Ancestral House. In regards to the room - basic amenities (one toilet roll, one small sachet of shampoo and soap, 2 towels, tv with cable was provided). Free breakfast was included in price, the breakfast is very simple toast with a slice of ham or rice and two small sausages. Wifi is also provided in the room however it does disconnect often. Overall, you get what you pay for and for us we just needed a place to crash and shower after being out all day exploring!

Budget friendly, ok location
Familytrip, 2 adults and 3 kids in a family room. Price is ok, and then you can not expect too much. Old furnished room. Cr/bathroom as expected for this price range. Our bathroom was pritty disgusting, since we found leftover public hair on the wall, beside the lavatory. Even we informed them, they did not clean while we stayed there. So after two nights we found another hotel. Quite old and should need a makeover. Our old fashion tv set was out of order, so they changed it to another one that also was out of order. In the lobby, they had a aquarium, but nobody care to clean. Could be a nice thing to watch while waiting, but instead you feel like rushing out! We got a minivan, and was in need of their free parking, but very narrow frontyard, extremely narrow gate and passing to the garage. If there is another car there already, you have no more space to turn and park. Maybe better to go there as a backpacker?

Basic room, great service!
My first solo trip in a while, so i wantes ro save as much as possible and booked Pacific. The only word that comes to mind to describe this room/hotel is basic. Literally what you need, without the extra fluff of other hotels. It was very confortable and the people were very nice even when my key wouldn't work, they happily reset it for me. Would definitely stay here again!!

Nice and Quiet Stay
My wife Mary and I had came in for an early check in on Monday July 4th. Our flight from Los Angeles had arrived in Cebu early. When we had got there, we had booked a Honeymoon Bedroom, but it was not available. The friendly staff took care of everything right then and there, and had got a great one bed bedroom upstairs. The Kitchen Staff was great, and I loved eating the lady who cook there delicious breakfast. Over all, everything was convenient, and accessible.

The room is big. Bed and bathroom is good. Neighbourhood is quiet.cheap place to stay. It has free breakfast. The people is nice. But i dont like the tv and wifi connection. Wifi is so slow and about the tv its like your watching damage cd. It goes stop and play then stop again and play again. The place is near malls and markets and i like it.

Sadly I'm a bit disappointed about the stay as the pictures to the room I booked and the actual room I stayed greatly mislead. The room is bit old as the facility's its clean the bed (doublebed)is to small for 2 people actually. After all the breakfast was OK. Personally I don't want to go back

What can I say other than this hotel is in The Philippines, a place where you will get extremely poor value for your money. Staff were nice and you could see that they're trying to keep the place in good condition, but I guess there's only so much you can do. The room itself wasn't too horrible -hey, at least it had a window! but: - Thin, awfully uncomfortable foam mattress that was just about big enough for 2 skinny people - Wifi: forget about it if you work online. Download speed was 0.25Mbps (I kid you not), upload speed didn't exist - Huge cockroaches in the bathroom - Bugs crawling on the walls of the room (they looked like small cockroaches), ants had taken over the floor - Very noisy air conditioning that was either freezing or blasted hot air. Got a sore throat because of that - A trickle of water coming out of the shower head. Good luck if you have long hair and want to wash it All this for $25 / night plus taxes? If you have travelled around South East Asia, you know that $25 dollars gets you a VERY nice place elsewhere. Not in The Philippines. I've stayed in accommodation of similar standards in other SEA countries and paid $3 for it. What a rip-off, but sadly this is considered an above-average place and a reasonable price.

Cheap stay - worth it though
It was only an overnight layover stay. The hotel was okay. Breakfast was very oily, but it was something to eat at least for our hungry stomachs. Aircon was very noisy but it kept us cool for the hot and humid night. I chose the hotel for it's location - walking distance the the South Bus terminal where we needed to be early the next morning.

the only good thing about this place is its accessibility and nice breakfast. The room we had has got a broken airconditioning that does not really cool the room but just makes an annoying noisye. When we complained about this we were asked to move to a much older room. The bathroom was very small and the sink not draining well. The room was not cleaned daily and toiletries and towels were not provided unless you asked for it. I asked for a cup once for my little boy and they told that i have to go down and get it.

Nice Staff, As usual the philippino people are so nice, the hotel is very hard to find, Its behind a 7-11 Corner Store, dont follow google maps when it comes to finding something in the philippines, they do have a underground parking garage, works for a small van or car. if you want a fridge, WIFI, in room , it will be extra, we were there during a festival weekend so it was a good room for the price. was happy to leave after two days. good breakfast with the room stay. walking distance to Robinson Circle

Stayed here for 5 nights, Cheap hotel close to colon street market and robinsons mall. 7/11 right outside, hotel restaurant is inexpensive and convenient. The burger is the worst I've ever had, the American breakfast is worth 100php. The staff won't talk to you unless you talk to them first. They won't clean your room unless you ask. Woke up the last two morning to banging on the wall, they are doing some sort of construction or renovation.

I rented 2 rooms
It was not what the photos showed...very, very basic, fairly clean, no hair dryer and no place to put anything in the bathroom...Internet was bad...and very slow...cooks were nice, food was okay...fried chicken was good. I won't stay there again...location in an alley off the main street. The air conditioning was great.

Very Overrated!
Yuck - "greeted" by unfriendly front desk staff, small room with very worn furniture, old TV, air con with one temp setting and no controls - on/off was it, no hot water, uncomfortable mattress, thin hard pillows, stained sheets, mediocre food. The only thing this pension house has going for it is the low price - but one could do as well or better price wise elsewhere - and have an all around better room, better service, nicer front desk and more convenient location. If we hadn't pre-paid 3 nights, we'd have been gone after one. Don't stay here!

I am often visitor, I like the staff, room small but clean and comfortable, close to what you need....keep a careful eye when you are out - pay attention to surroundings - if you do that you will have an enjoyable stay.

I would recommend Pacific Pensionne for light travelers or for individuals who are always on the go. The hotel has free wi-fi in the lobby and cafe area, for the room you need to pay and would have a choice on the number of hours of usage. The location is very good as well, right along a major thoroughfare and would have access to taxis 24 hours. I enjoyed my brief stay at Pacific Pensionne over-all.

No standards
There were several issues with this hotel. The room accommodations for the price was too small. The air conditioning (a/c) did not cool the room nor make it cold. There was no way to adjust the a/c to blow to where the bed position was at. Then, there was no hot water to shower with as a basic standard. While in the showers, there was no room to stand as your leg would be next to the toilet bowl. There is no elevator (disabled veteran) that had to walk up/down four flights of stairs. The stairs did not appear to be standard height and at every level, there where large vase decorations that are placed in the walk ways and made you navigate on the stair landings to avoid decor and other visitors. Recommend: 1. Reduce room rate for poor a/c and no hot water in a 14' X 13' room. 2. Improve on the a/c conditions of the room 3. Provide basic hot water for showering 4. Remove abstructions on stair landings to ensure greater movement and consider for fire exit plans To be considered to be rated on a 5 star system, the rating requirements should be used on this hotel not just based on opinions.
