Thanks to all of the staff .
The hotel is in an excellent location which is in the city. There's a local store call 7/11 in which opens 24/7. One of the main malls is also located 2 minutes walk and you can find everything you need in there. Staff are very helpful, and attend to whatever you need eg room service etc. Taxis are there standing by and it is a very secure place. During breakfast you have so many options to choose from. The room is huge, neat and tidy. Would defiantly say this is one of the best hotels I have stayed in.
Spent 3D/2N at this newly-opened hotel with my family and enjoyed every bit of our stay. The rooms were big, beds were very comfy, restrooms clean and spacious. Lobby area and restaurant were all very spacious and nicely decorated. I love the fact that they had a chapel too! Function rooms were bigcand perfect for various functions. Staff were all friendy and smile a lot. Buffet breakfast was okay for the price. We had dinner one night ala carte and the food was really yummy! Only downside is the wifi connection which was intermittent at times. All in all, we were very happy with our stay and will definitely come back.
We stayed at the Henry for one night. Just loved it. It's hip and edgy in just the right way. Never saw a single other thing in the Philippines that takes as much of a chance and gets away with it. It's not for everyone -- way too hipsterish for anyone who's the least bit conservative. Raw concrete walls, floors and ceilings and intentional graffiti are the order of the day. But, to me, it's just excellent! Not at all tacky because it doesn't fakely strive to be "elegant".
Most unlike standard Philippines hotel staff, these guys are smart and totally with-it. Room is spacious although overlooked a pretty gross junkyard in back. Bed is very comfortable and the A/C works perfectly. Great shower. No privacy in the bathroom -- there's no door!! -- so you have to be somewhat comfortable with your traveling partner. Personally I thought the whole thing was just great. Awesome breakfast too.
Cebu City is the largest city in the Visayas. The harbor and ferry terminals are in the south of the city, as is Fort San Pedro. Colon Street, to the north, is the oldest street in the Philippines. A large Taoist temple in the Beverly Hills neighborhood overlooks the city.
