The hotel is located in a great location within close walking distance to the Mall of Asia. The hotel has a covered parking garage located behind the hotel which you have to access by driving around the block but, once there the security staff will assist you and register your guest parking. It’s a short walk to hotel elevator but, once inside the hotel it is rather confusing to find the front desk lobby due to lack of visible directions or signage. The hotels garage elevator does not go to the ground floor even though there is a “G” button inside the elevator and will automatically stop on the 2nd floor. Upon exiting we found another set of elevators but, they do not go to the lobby as well. A guest directed us to walk in the opposite direction towards a restaurant on the 2nd floor and from there to take the escalators down to the lobby. You will also need to take the same escalators up to the 2nd floor to take yet a different elevator to go up to your hotel wing. The hotel pool looked a bit stained so we opted to pass on swimming. The hotel’s gym is accessed by walking through the hotel’s restaurant which is strange as you walk by other guests who are eating. The gym was very disappointing as the few equipment they had was broken and the air conditioning was also broken. On a positive note, breakfast buffet was good with many choices including fresh fruit. The staff was friendly and helpful so hopefully the hotel will improve and address some of the issues.

what i liked about the property were, the room was wide and clean. what i did NOT like were the bath room shower floor tile were slippery. when it gets wet it was so slippery, i also noticed the floor shower has NO slope to drain the water, the drain was leveled with the floor, when taking a shower some of the water are getting into the other side. the shower glass wall/door did not help at all to contain the water in the shower area. also the bath lavatory was cracked, although it has no leak but still a broken lavatory.

The staff there is great and the food is good. The property needs major upgrades, wall paper pilling of the wall, room was hot also had roaches in my room an in the hall way. The area behind the hotel needs cleans it was nothing but trash could be the reason for roaches.

Found roach in bathrooms 2 days in row, i only stayed here 2 nights. Ac was working weak. Called they tried the first time didnt work n got tired of complaining so i just said whatever, plus i had the suite room staying in 7th floor n they wanna charge me more money cuz i got there early, other hotels in area didn't charge me that, will i stay here again? Definitely not

The staff was friendly and it in a nice area. We had room 701. The minute we walked in you could see the wall paper stained and peeling off all the walls in the living room. We found roaches in the bedroom and bathroom. We immediately left the room and moved to a better hotel. This could be a great hotel is the owner would fix up the room. This hotel would be closed by the health department if it was in the USA.

Like:Close proximity to MOA. Good selections of buffet breakfast, and varies everyday we were there. Staffs were helpful and cordial. Room is clean and bed is comfortable, and able to sleep well. Dislike: smell of cigarette smoke on the 7th floor, and coffee during breakfast tasted light.

The Golden Phoenix has a great location. It's very well situated near some great attractions. MOA is within walking distance and it offers plenty of things to do and see. If you like to try you luck 'Land of Dreams' Casino is also within walking distance. There are so many options nearby offering a nice variety. But you don't have to go very far if you want tasty food. The Gold Spices Restaurant is located on the 7th floor and has a nice buffet. If you head down to the 2nd floor you can enjoy 'The Amore Bread & Booze' , a quiet little bar just above the lobby. My all around experience was incredible. The entire staff does an amazing job of making your stay more comfortable and helps you to relax a little easier. I will definitely return to the Golden Phoenix on my next trip to the Philippines.

Liked this hotel. Two issues that will not keep me from coming back. The street outside the hotel can be very loud so try to get a room in the back. No airport shuttle but taxi first time I went was 500 Pesos, second time 200, third time 400. The third time the taxi driver had no idea where the hotel was and didn’t seem to be able to see the written address to know where to take me. I believe next time I’ll just get a grab. Otherwise this is an excellent hotel with a good value. Nice staff. Clean rooms. Plenty of food options on site.

The location is good close to mall of Asia and airport. Outside smells like urine and human waste if you walk to the mall of Asia. In hotel escalators didn’t work and half of the elevators were not working. Had to wait an hour after check in time to get into room dues to not being cleaned. Room key didn’t work a few times so had to get reprogrammed a few times.
