"The staff was fine the pool was fairly clean the rooms were fairly clean the air conditioners needed to be clean leaving a musty smell breakfast could have been extended to say 10 or 11 instead of 9 overall I do believe that it would be a 5 out of 10 stay they definitely could use a little upgrade other than that everything was okay"
"I was suprized when I checked in shortly before three P.M. to hear that you must ask for a ground level room when making your reservation. I specifically arrived early to secure our two rooms on the lower level. At least 95 % of the rooms were unoccupied at my check in time. For anyone needing a lower level room you shoud request this prior to arriving."
"Nothing about this property was good. It took a half hour to get checked in. The room was horrible, wallpaper peeling, paint chips on the walls, floor looked dirty. Got ready to go to bed and found bedbugs in the bed. Complained to the management, he put me in another room and insisted i leave my things in the bedbug infested room. I told him NO and he wanted to argue with me. I told him that I now have to wash all my things, I want the hotel to pay for this. He rolled his eyes and walked away. My daughter stayed in another room that had POOP on the bed sheets.
DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL!"
"We had an awesome time. There is a lot of construction/renovations going on so the grounds were a bit messy and we had to maneuver around a lot of stuff. Other than that, we had friendly staff, nice quality gifts, and good food. I wasn't too impressed with the buffet breakfast at the Green River Grill and Bar but it was good. The coffee was good and the bacon was cooked crispy. Dinner was good and my husband said his burger was really tasty. We split a wedge salad and they didn't skimp on the bacon pieces or the blue cheese. I had the chicken fried chicken which was pretty good with favor but a little dry (not unexpected with chicken breast). The gravy could have been a little more flavorful. The Historic Cottage was pretty neat, though there is no WiFi or hard to get any cell service. No TV, so bring something to do if you have a rainy day and stay inside. The bed was comfortable and the place was clean."
"While the Grand Victorian Inn has historic character there were many issues that I would not recommend this B&B as follows:
1) There is an active train line that runs less than 100 feet from the hotel. During our stay trains ran every hour that night making it impossible to sleep.
2) There was no one to check you in or out of the hotel. Management simply provided a pass code to the front door via text the day you were to arrive. No other personal contact at all.
3) While the Inn serves breakfast, like most B&B's, they provide a list of restaurants in the area for lunch and dinner. They fail to mention the closest of these establishments is 10 miles away. Oddly, there is a diner in Park City that they fail to mention.
4) Breakfast is served for very limited time between 8-8:30 AM, apparently for the convenience of the inn keepers in lieu of the guests. We had an 8 AM tee time at a nearby golf course, however with no one to discuss this with we simply had to do without.
5) We were booked for two nights at the Inn however after our first horrific night we were already past cancellation for the second night. We moved out anyway and sent a text since there was no one there to help us. No refund was provided by Inn Management despite the totally unsatisfactory experience."
"We had a great stay for the two nights that we were there. The breakfast was awesome and had quite a bit of variety from biscuits and gravy to eggs to sausage, muffins, cereal, juices and milks and the lady that was tending to was very nice and helpful. The only downfall was we were hoping for a hot tub and there wasn't one available. But it was closed to Kentucky down under and not far from Mammoth Case which we were visiting. Krista checked us in on Sunday evening and was very helpful and she was there to check us out today."
