No front desk to speak of. Extremely confusing check in. A random staff worker found us searching for reception, and then seemed to pick Adam apartment at random to give us. The apartment itself was average. It was spacious, just no AC in the living room. But every person we met afterward had trouble checking in or reaching the owner. Very strange, and made me feel uneasy during the stay.

We recognize that are not a traditional hotel and not everyone will appreciate our efforts to give our guests an authentic Lucian experience. We do however have an ac in each of our two bedrooms that's two ac's per apartment and staff on site between 10am and 4pm. We also offer the best rates available on the island for a two bedroom apartment and clean safe accommodations in a family friendly neighborhood that many of our guests appreciate. The location, the surrounding views, the general atmosphere were all pleasant. The people were very friendly and the apartment was very clean and was well equipped with all the right amenities to survive daily.

My favorite thing about the property is the closeness to the ferry terminal. If you’re looking for a place just for a few nights then I totally recommend!

The toilets and shower did not work. It was completely filthy not even 3rd world we are going 7th circle of hell. Towels and linens filthy. Never in my life. Got no more words except one.. REFUND! I AM REPORTING THEM TO THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT IF THEY HAVE SUCH A THING IN THIS FILTHY PLACE. I WILL NOT BOOK THROUGH EXPEDIA EVER AGAIN IF YOU DONT FIX THIS$$$$$

This was very proximate to the ferry departure area and is also very close to the smaller airport in St. Lucia. The apt itself was very spacious, much more than I expected and came with several appliances. Unfortunately during our stay the air conditioner and refrigerator were not working, which made for a hot night and nowhere to keep water cold. I still think it is worth staying here. Note that there are not many shops or stores within walking distance and it is only possible to get a taxi if you know someone to call. So, make sure you bring all of the bottled water and food you need for the night before you settle in.

Do not stay here unless you have reliable local cell phone service. We missed our flight out because our cab never showed up and there was no one on the property to help us.

Poor service on arrival, had to wait more than 2 hours to access room due to lack of staff. Staff hard to contact. Room basic but OK. Staff could not find wifi code which is a problem when travelling on business. Went to get a pizza and was hassled by someone who clearly had an interest in my wallet and phone.... Taxi driver was great.

We really regret the delay on checking in and apologise for the inconvenience. We ask all our guest to give us an idea on what time the will be checking in. Our office is open from 9am till 5pm so any time before then is great. If you arriving late especially if you did a same day booking just a short note to say when you will be here and we will make arrangements to meet you or so you can check yourself in. Of course as soon as we can we will check you in also. Our number are are posted on our sign and web site and we really try to respond as soon as possible. once again apologies and safe travels

This was a great find Really lucky to find quiet community close to castries shuttle. Staff was very attentive and friendly. Was able to get direction via public minibus to everywhere we wanted to. Really enjoyed watching lit cruize ships heading out of Castries habour at night. Should have booked more nights here but ill be back.

Uncomfortable beds + better to have a car
There is a cheap mini bus (EC$ 2 per person) nearby by the hospital going to the town centre once an hour but there is no timetable for its return so you could be waiting for it for a long time and the transport ends by 6 pm. We had to take taxi back every time (EC$ 20). You could feel the plastic covers on the mattresses and the thin, hard pillows. Double bed was on a smaller size but the mattress was fine. Single beds had thin mattresses and metal railings at the end so a taller person was unable to stretch the legs. One of the beds made a loud noise every time you moved on it. Do not open the cupboard under the sink unless you don't mind the smell of mould.

Perfect
This place was perfect for our needs. Even when we switched our rooms on our second stay because we loved the top apt so much (sea view!) on our first stay, they gladly make the switch and only charged a reasonable amount extra. We would stay there again in a heartbeat! Clean, comfortable, convenient in a tranquil location. Did I say perfect?

Not a 3 star hotel.....
I stayed here last month and was a bit disappointed. The location was perfect and I was really excited when expedia said 3 star as I'd stayed in the same star level on my previous visits but this is not 3 star accommodation. It's a very dated apartment. It has everything you need but the furniture is very old and the beds very uncomfortable due to being warn out. There were squashed mosquito marks on several walls but otherwise it was clean. If your looking for somewhere cheap to stay for a few days in hostel like accommodation then this place is perfect.

Aanola Stay
Was good overall on a budget stay, just that it was a little bit of a challenge to get anyone over the weekend. However, place is clean and decent, large comfortable bed, quiet area. getting around is easy if you have access to a vehicle.

Quaint With Lovely Views
This was my first time in St. Lucia, didn't know what to expect. Everything was fine, I wasn't expecting super fancy, and it exceeded expectations. The property was quaint with very nice views. Glad I chose this place to stay!

Unfortunately I can't recommend this place because I didn't end up staying there! I arrived on a Sunday and the owner was not there or answering the phone. Luckily there was someone in the property next door who gave me a room there and said he'd sort it out with his neighbor.

Fun, lovely, economical and the real deal
Staying at Aanola Villas was a great choice for my husband and me. When visiting a beautiful and fascinating country like St. Lucia we have no interest in being cooped up at a resort with other foreigners. That would just feel phoney. Instead we rented a spacious, nicely appointed, not luxurious but comfortable apartment at Aanola Villas and got to see what a Castries neighborhood was like. The air conditioning, mosquito nets, washing machine and lovely view of the Caribbean were much appreciated. Having the well equipped kitchen meant we didn’t have to pay outrageous prices for restaurant meals in touristy places. We bought fabulous fruit, veggies, spices and provisions from the local market vendors and cooked for ourselves. We were glad to support the local economy in this way, and also to rent from a St. Lucian, instead of lining the pockets of some foreign-based hotel corporation. We didn’t want to rent a car so we took the nearby shuttle (about 2 minutes walk away) to downtown Castries. It leaves every hour and costs about US 60cents! If you want to lay on the beach and drink, this is not the place for you. If you want economical lodging that helps you experience the real St. Lucia and aren't looking to hang out in a pampered gated tourist community, then I'd recommend Aanola Villas.

Not properly prepared.
The rooms were hot even though the two bedrooms were equipped with air conditioners, All rooms had mosquitos which made it very uncomfortable. I had to request for the rooms to be sprayed the next day. There were nets with holes in the bedrooms so the mosquitos found us. Some of the kitchen amenities were in poor conditions and we decided not to use them. Most of the cooking pots and especially the greater need to be change. We had to ask for toilet tissue as we met less than quarter on the roll.

Very clean and comfortable facility.
Upon my arrival , I was greeted with warmth and friendliness. The owner was most facilitating. He generously drove me to the supermarket so that I could obtain groceries for my stay. He waited until I completed my shopping and then brought me back. Then when I was leaving, he drove me to the airport in time to catch my flight.

We had a nice stay here. The neighbor hood was friendly, quiet and safe. Our room was huge 2 bedroom 1 bath. Furnishings and TV are old but work. Don't expect anything refined, yet a good deal for under 100 US dollars. Close to town. Friendly Staff

Stayed for two weeks!
The staff was great. Affordable price. Simple rooms. Quick bus ride into town, but the bus stops service to Tapon area at 6:00 pm. Taxi to the hotel a little expensive.
