"We stayed here 10 days. My husband cooked almost every night and loved how well supplied the kitchen was. I was grateful that the beds are more comfortable than the average rock slab that seems to be the mainstay in Portugal and Spain (LOL). The water heater cannot handle two hot showers in a row, so you'll want to space them out, and the shower is very small, so be aware if you are a bigger person. I am a very light sleeper and the road noise bothered me. My husband is not a light sleeper and he slept fine. It's an easy walk to multiple grocery stores and the market, to the ferry dock, and to the train station. The weather was not conducive to us using the rooftop patio, but it was an awesome space and is a definite bonus. We felt very safe exploring the area. Communication with the host was excellent. "While the property was clean it was significantly dated and the room I had booked with a bed for 2 turned out to be 2 small beds separated across the room which was not what I expected or wanted. The property also had a fusty/ smoky smell which was off-putting."
