"This is well situated, nicely managed boutique hotel. The rooms are lovely and comfortable and reflect the character of the house. The hosts were charming, welcoming, and helpful. "
"The entire experience was great. The location was ideal, room was clean and spacious. The property was very clear and swift on instructions for checking in and parking. Also dog friendly. Overall would recommend The Hide to absolutely everyone travelling to Ghent. "
"The property is close to train station, it is walkable to the town centre.
The interior is very nice, stylish and tidy.
I love the toiletries provided. Refreshing after a long day walk. "
"A lovely old house with excellent bedrooms and kitchen area. The little private garden at the rear was very pleasant to sit in. Polo is a very helpful host. There are a lot of roadworks going on in the area but further into the old town are all the great sights and restaurants. "
"Wonderful place to stay, one of the nicer hostels I have been in. If you have a chance definitely stay here but be aware that there is no curtain for your bed "

"Incredible overnight stay to break up our journey, as a family of 4 there was so much space in the room. Very luxurious comfy beds, and great value for money! Would highly recommend!! "
"We only stayed at this hotel for one night. After a long drive, we arrived with no real expectations when booking—our main priorities were having secure parking (note: there’s a €10 fee) and being reasonably close to Ghent city centre.
What we loved about this hotel is that from the moment you walk into reception, it feels clean, modern, and welcoming.
The family room we booked was surprisingly spacious and bright—I honestly didn’t expect to get such a large room for a family. More hotels should take note and offer proper double beds for families! The room even had a comfortable seating area, which was a great bonus.
The only minor downside was the lack of hair conditioner. I always wonder why, in this day and age, hotels don’t provide it as standard. Many travellers rely on small travel-sized bottles, so finding it in a hotel always feels like a thoughtful touch.
Other than that, everything was perfect, and we would definitely stay here again.

"Clean, simple room, spacious enough and even with a nice view, right in the center of town. Beds were comfy, shower warm and strong. The breakfast was great, worth adding."
"This hotel is in a quiet area. It is close to tourist attractions. It is clean but there is no air conditioning. There are free lockers to store your luggage as you wait for check-in or after your check-out."
