To say we loved our stay at Villa Vignalunga is an understatement. The accommodations, the location, the food, and even the smells from the flowers in the garden were all beyond what we had dreamed of when we booked this trip. Will not hesitate to book again on our next trip to Tuscany.

Amazing Tuscan Getaway

This peaceful Castiglione d'Orcia villa was the perfect home base for our group of seven adults. It was very well-appointed and secluded enough to allow us to truly relax and disconnect, but still within easy driving distance to many charming towns, wineries, and restaurants. Gaia was a fantastic host, answering all our questions and helping arrange two home-cooked meals at the villa (highly recommend!). Being early December, the weather was cool and at times rainy, and some restaurants were closed, but that didn't prevent us from enjoying everything the area has to offer. Lovely stay!

Incredible stay with friends

Stayed here to celebrate my birthday with 11 friends (including my friends daughter who was about 2yr old) and it was simply heaven. The property is out of a storybook and the amenities were perfection. Comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, amazing amenities and great add ons! We booked a cooking class and served dinner, both were great and very authentic. The massage was good, but not a must. In the end we really spoiled ourselves with this stay and plan to do it again every year. Highly highly recommend for really any reason you come up with! Also Gaia from WP Relais was great to work with, patient and made sure we had everything we needed to make the trip extra special. Such a special experience! Thank you!!

SO AMAZING!!

This is an extraordinary place to stay! The house (houses) was everything we could ask for, as was the surrounding area. There was lots of outdoor space to enjoy, and the amenities were incredible. We all talked about when we could return. I highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for a special place in Tuscany.

Nichée dans un écrin de verdure, au calme campagnard, cette vieille ferme toscane remise au goût du jour a tout pour satisfaire un groupe de vacanciers en quête de repos, d’authenticité, de calme. Et si vous voulez faire la fête, vous ne dérangerez personne! Située dans le Val d’Orcia, elle permet de visiter toutes les merveilles de la région (Montalcino, Montepulciano, Pienza, Sienne, Firenze, San Gimignano, Volterra, Sant’ Antimmo, Saturnia, etc…). Accueil remarquable par Saba, propreté exemplaire, équipement de maison au top, nettoyage et remplacement du linge de maison à mi séjour (nous y avons séjourné 15 jours), disponibilité et réponses/solutions rapides en cas de problème,… bref TOP. Le sauna privé fut un plaisir, sans parler de la piscine avec un contre-courant. Nous recommandons aussi de réserver une « soirée pizza »

Perfect Tuscan home

Our stay in Tuscany at Castiglione d’Orcia was wonderful. The home is the perfect combination of old world Tuscan farmhouse style and modern amenities. The home is beautifully decorated, has amazing views, comfortable furniture, a well appointed kitchen with many spices and tools, modern bathrooms and much more. We felt so at home here especially thanks to the animals wandering the large grounds. We loved all of our cat friends who came to visit and we took a moment every day to visit the horses, goats and chickens. Th grounds are lovely and we had lots of room to roam. We felt very private and and secluded here. Gaia was the perfect hostess and had amazing communication. She arranged two amazing dinners for us. We had a lovely birthday celebration complete with birthday cake custo made. We also had one of our favorite evenings of the trip with a feast made in the pizza oven. It was the best pizza anyone in our group had ever had. Gaia also was so kind enough to find a local chiropractor and book and appointment for a member of our group when they were injured. It made a huge difference and she did it all quickly and without complaint. I am looking for an excuse to return to the house with a larger group, there were just four of us and many more could have joined us. I will always look back fondly on our time there and wish to hopefully return.

This home is spectacular in so many ways

Our family of 14 had an incredible stay. From the moment we inquired about the villa to our last day, Gaia and Pietro were quick in responding, offered amazing recommendations (even helped book a last minute anniversary dinner for us) and went above and beyond to make sure our vacation was memorable. We had an amazing stay in this absolutely gorgeous home. Stylish and comfortable for large groups, great kitchen, lovely pool and gardens, not to mention the breathtaking views. The nearby town of Castiglione d’Orcia Is beautiful and has a wonderful wine bar. The house is conveniently located a reasonable drive away from hotspots such as Sienna, Montepulciano, Pienza and Montalcino. We would love to stay here again.

Our whole stay but especially our wedding was amazing at this incredible warming and stylish mansion. Everything is well thought of and the grounds and the pool are the most relaxing space you can think of. The huge ground in front of the veranda is a perfect spot for the kids or just a relaxed evening in one of the four hammocks! The interior is the best we’ve ever seen in all our holidays. It was just above our expectations!! Gaia was a huge help in clearing things up before we arrived and even made it possible to visit the place two month before. So if you’re planning to have your wedding in Tuscany or just need a relaxing and luxurious holiday this IS the place to be. Our caterer by the way was Zenzero Biocatering from Florence and that was the best food we’ve ever tasted in Italy. They completed our day in the best delicious and heart warming way!! We’re trying to come back as soon as possible. But next time we’re gonna try the Ayurvedic massages they also offer!!!

I cannot emphasize how incredible our experience at Gaia's in Bagno Vignoni was! We went for a family trip for my parents' 35th wedding anniversary and truly enjoyed ourselves.Saba, is absolutely incredible - highly recommend hiring her to cook since it was the most incredible meal we had in Italy. Gaia was incredible and went to any length to ensure our stay was fabulous, which it was! The home was flawlessly decorated and felt like such a personal space. We even had a cooking class that came to our house one of the evenings and felt like we were having a memorable family meal in our home - the ultimate homeaway experience.

The villa is a great place to stay for large family or multiple family venues. You feel at home as an Italian family. Location is perfect : Bagno Vignoni is a very nice small town, Siena, Perugia are 1 hour drive. View on Tuscany landscape beautiful.However, we barely left the house because sitting around the external areas or having dinner outside in the garden kept us satisfied.The garden is amazing; it is so big; kids was even calling it woods... We were three families altogether 6 adults and 8 children staying one week in this wonderful villa. Our stay was truly a splendid one. The villa was very spacious, easily accommodating us

La villa de Gaia est simplement splendide. Décorée avec goût, lumineuse, pratique, elle a une vue magnifique sur une coline d'une Val d'Orcia. Au milieu de la nature, le jardin est ombragé, les deux terrasses permettent de varier les lieux de diner et déjeuner, et les chevaux, ânes, oies sont une belle attraction pour les enfants. La villa a une situation idéale pour visiter le Val d'Orcia, et Sienne un peu plus loin. Nous ne rêvons que de revenir ! Rares sont les lieux qui transcendent même les photos qu'on a pu en faire !!! The house is just as you see in the pictures, absolutely beautiful! Extremely spacious and everyone had their full privacy. Gaia is a wonderful host and always available for questions and tips for things to do! The Pizza making at the house was a great tip and a must-do! The views from every angle at this house are breathtaking. There are so many spaces to sit and take it all in! Highly recommend for groups that want to relax and enjoy the Tuscan countryside!
