Verdura Resort is an ideal place to spend a couple of days relaxing. That’s what we did. The beach and pool area were perfect for that. The staff were very attentive and provided us with great service. The restaurants had excellent food. Thank you for welcoming us!!!!

This property is beautiful and a luxury resort. However, it is a little remote and sight seeing is limited. But if going to relax in luxury- this is the place!

A hidden paradise
Verdura is the kind of resort where the options for the day are endless - whether that be languid days by the beach or the pool, or an active day of golf, tennis, or even Padel! The rooms are amply sized and the Irene Forte toiletries are divine, and the twice daily turn down service keeps everything pristine. We also loved travelling everywhere on site with the free bicycles that were scattered across the property. We went here for our honeymoon as a conduit to this region of Sicily and it is every bit as heavenly as you might imagine with bucolic rolling hills against the backdrop of the ocean. Splendid. My only criticism is that so many activities are chargeable! I have stayed in many hotels and most don’t charge for tennis/Padel courts and non-motorised water activities (eg SUP, kayaking). If you decide to pursue these activities, it is well worth having a coach lesson (Tom for golf and Leo for Padel were fantastic). The food is excellent but also expensive so I recommend having the occasional dinner at one of the many excellent trattorias in the Sciacca city centre. Overall, a lovely stay!

Wonderful and relaxing oasis in Sciacca
This is an excellent resort. My only gripe is that they need to get with the times and put a good coffee maker in the room (a good cup of coffee is a must upon waking up and having to wait until going to breakfast is no fun) and install TVs that allow Netflix and Prime Video streaming. The resort TV offers tons of channels, but in English only news or sports.

I wish the property would have contacted me Before my arrival to make reservations for Dining, golf And spa. It was very crowded due to A tournament of which I was unaware.

Beautiful property but limited and very overpriced food options. Far from town. The room required repairs which hotel chose to ignore even upon multiple requests. Definitely not a 5 star service

Verdura resort is relaxed luxury done to ABSOLUTE perfection. Just returned from our four night stay and can’t wait to go back. The resort setting is spectacular to say the least. Everything is there for you, restaurants, bars, spa, gym, shops, the beach and an enormous pool. The service is 5 star on all levels. The staff know your name and do everything with a smile. Special thanks to Christian at the Granita bar, a true gem!

Excellent hotel to relax, and if you play golf it is ideal, but you do need a car if you wish to visit any of the 'sights' on the island. Great setting, excellent rooms, staff all well trained and all provide a 5 star service. Ignore the whinging 'reviews' who complain about the prices, or trivia. This is a quality 5 star hotel in a wonderful setting - it isn't Butlins, Center Parcs, or McDonalds - so if you have noisy demanding sprogs - leave them at home.

it's a great place; the grounds are vast, there's nothing but the golf courses and the mountains in the distance and the sea. There's several restaurants on the premises. I recommend trying the seabass with vegetables, amazing! The strawberry sorbet is the best. If you want quiet and not crowded with nothing but relaxation, this is the right place. They also have spa access, for the Scandinavian baths circuit, outside, right by the fields. Very nice.

amazingly quiet. Sprawling expanse with the mountains in the distance, and the waves nearby. If you're like me and you like the quiet, away from everything, this is the place. Nothing compares. And it's just like the pictures, it's everything they say it is.

What a great Resort. I’m going back!!
Golf trip away with the boys (36 of us) then a further 4 days alone with the wife. Hotel is amazing and had a real sense of luxury and privacy. Estate is huge with own beach, golf Spa and multiple restaurants. Breakfast is just the best and golf challenging but fair. Only downside (and its a small one) very slow internet which at this level of luxury, isn’t really acceptable these days. Other than that absolutely no criticism at all. Oh and they have hundreds of bicycles to move around the seats if you want. Just hop on and hop off. Will I go back. YES.

Easily one the best hotels in Sicily and by some way the best family ‘resort’ on the island. It’s the fourth time I’ve stayed at Verdura and will definitely go back. Great for: - golf - tennis - exceptional gym facilities - kids club (this year they’ve added a charge for usage though) - free bikes to cycle round the resort - deceptively large and clean swimming pool - spa - overall cleanliness and attention to detail - Stunning scenery -helpful, welcoming and accommodating service/staff Not so great: - the beach is largely pebble & shingle and needs work - the restaurant prices are extremely high (you can eat out in nearby towns) Note: the hotel will close down for refurbishment for a few months during the winter period this year.

Great relaxing break
Lovely location, village and layout. Really stunning scenery, great restaurants and novel way of getting around the village on bikes. Service was a little haphazard - check in was poor and turn down at 10pm with a sleeping child is hardly 'family-friendly', but very little else to criticise. The golf courses were stunning, the spa just a lovely setting to relax in and the outside pool is simply huge.

A relaxing break during your break
We spent 12 days in Sicily, split between intense sight-seeing and a relaxing 4 days at Verdura. Our kids especially enjoyed a break from ruins and cities. Our daughter (6) basically ditched us for the Kids Club (which was excellent) for most of our stay. Our 21 month old boy was adored by the staff and especially loved being cycled around the grounds on the front of one of Verdura’s bikes. A good spot for seeing The Valley of the Temples, La Scala dei Turchi and other local sites. Highly recommend.

A First Class resort hotel
An excellent location. The site is beautifully landscaped and thoughtfully laid out . The staff are all friendly, welcoming, charming and helpful - in every department. Our room was extremely well appointed and the bed most comfortable . The food was superb with a good selection of places to dine. Once you have exhausted yourself at the beach and the pools do take in the spa!

Spacious resort hotel with 5* service & facilities
Went as a couple with our 4 year old. Excellent play centre and pools for children in dedicated centre which was a bonus. Staff all very helpful and friendly and made us feel welcome and looked after at all times. If you enjoy golf then the hotel is ideal, but there are also tennis and water sports available (at a price.) In summary, we would happily return - and we don't say that very often about hotels...

Great hotel with unique design, ambiance and setti
We enjoyed every aspect of staying at the hotel. The hotel does have a very large golf facility (two courses) with beautiful views but you do not need to be a golfer to stay and enjoy the property. We did play the golf course and enjoyed it but felt we were really over-charged for club rentals, golf balls, golf cart etc. which would have been OK to us were the course in reasonably good condition, which it was not. Maybe this is the condition for the end of summer as the area is quite dry but for an all-in cost of almost $300 for a round of golf, this aspect of our stay was disappointing.
