This was a surprise for us! Is like you travel in time to the good resorts in the 80s but was a good experience the hotel is smaller than looks in the pictures. But still a good one. Rooms are nice and the entertainment was really fun! Beach is right in front and nice to walk the boulevard I will recommend it

Definitely a summer resort location. We stayed there in February as a stop over driving within Spain. This was the one of the only 3 hotels with 4 stars open. We arrived at 8 pm, the receptionist was slow and didn’t seem to know what she was doing. When I booked the room online she told me that I only booked the room for one person and charged me an additional $15 even though my reservation was for 2 people. She told me parking was 15 but when we checked out the next day it was only $7. This location caters to seniors which did not bother us until we had to eat the the buffet because nothing else was open. Horrible dried out, stale food. I opted for the best room which was still only about $100 per night, at the top of the property with an amazing view. Room was clean but basic.

Beach located family and senior-oriented property
This family and senior-oriented was filled with bus loads of seniors who enjoyed their time including dancing to music till midnight. The property is located across the street from a great sandy beach with kilometers of walking possibilities. The buffet breakfast was great with good food selection.

Pensioners birthday treat
We stayed 4 nights to celebrate our birthdays 12th and 15th july .the hotel was excellent ,checkin very smooth and simple even for us o.a,ps the breakfast was plentiful and varied,this is very much a family hotel at this time of year and was good to see the children and parents enjoying themselves .The hotel somehow found out it was our birthday and left a small card and a gift pack of chocolates for us thankyou .We would like to thank all the staff at the hotel for making us so welcome .We will certainly stay here again.

Had a lovely upgraded loft sea view apartments,all the staff very helpful and friendly ,food was ok but didn't think it was 4 * ,not a good time to visit November as season finished everywhere closed up ,but nice Wallace along the fronf ,wish had taken my bike great bike tracks

Resort is located in the first row from the sea, nice looking. Little complicated to browse through but doable. After spending a night we decided to stay one more. You have a choice of breakfast and dinner to be included in the stay- both buffet style. Parking is available for a fee - not expensive

Friendly hotel with everything.
Lovely place easy to find and has everything we needed. Suite is huge with a stunning view over the balcony. Breakfast is excellent, staff more than happy to help with a great attitude.

Very happy with this hotel.
Everything was excellent. The poshest hotel we have ever stayed in. Staff were friendly, room was large and comfortable, the choice of food was varied and yummy. We would go there again and recommend it to anyone.

Oh the Mediterranean Sea!
A bit of a walk into town, but beautiful property and the sea is just across the street. Great pool, rooftops terrace and nice breakfast. Helpful staff. You must visit Papa Luna’s Castle. Basic room with nice terrace and sea view.

Great hotel, right on beach. Great facilities - 2 pools, restaurant, on-site parking. good size clean rooms. Wonderful view down to Peniscola. Brilliant room rate including breakfast.

Great family-friendly beach hotel
Family friendly hotel with kids playground, game room and large pool. Beach front property with easy access to bike and water sport rentals or a stroll on the boardwalk. Older hotel area, but the Casablanca is well maintained. Large studio room with sofa bed and a stunning view of the ocean from the balcony. Great breakfast and dinner buffet with healthy, fresh food options. Only issue was the spotty wifi service. We enjoyed the pristine beach area so much, we extended our vacation.

Good Hotel with comfortable rooms and terraces
The hotel is close to the beach between Peniscola and Benicarlo, There are some restaurants and bars close. You can walk or bike ride. The hotel has a restaurant and the breakfast was complete and good. The rooms are long size and clean, Good place to stay some days.

I wanted a place close to the ocean. This was a disappointment. More a motel than hotel, tiny room, pool, desolate part of town. Hard to get around, parking a nightmare. Rare places nearby outside of restaurants.

Great wee hotel next to the Sea
Clean, comfortable, good array of food and friendly staff. There is even a Jacuzzi on the terrace overlooking the sea on the 4th floor. Enjoyed our stay and would go back again in the near future.

The hotel itself is gorgeous, and right next to the beach. In retrospect, I think I would have liked a place a little closer to the old town center (which is also right next to the beach, so that in itself wouldn´t have been compromised). My only suggestion is that if you book here, avoid the 3rd floor ¨suites¨. Apparently there´s a children´s play area on the 4th floor, and it´s really loud. Actually, the walls of the rooms themselves are extremely thin. I could hear whole conversations of the people in the room next to me, as if they were in the same room. It seems like a lot of couples take their kids here though, and there´s even entertainment for them, so it´s extremely kid-friendly.

Needs to improve the quality and diversity of food. Also, this part of Peñiscola is not the best for the beach, if you travel with kids or old people. I much rather recommend the area closer to the castle where the beaches are better because one can walk for 20 meters and still the water will not cover you. Also the beach in front of Casablanca has the yellow flag the most of the days. The wind makes big waves in this open beach.

Good all insclusive resort
Although we only stayed one night, the hotel worked well. It is really a family all-inclusive resort with plenty of facilities and being right on the sea front. Food plentiful cafeteria style.

OK experience in Peniscola
OK hotel, but away from the downtown. This was the best value for a family of 5 where we could all stay in the same area as we have young children. A/C seemed very weak in middle of night and woke up sweating. Night desk staff could not speak English, which generally wouldn't be a problem, but I needed ice to apply to my daughters mouth after she fell out of bed and there was none to be found. The front desk did, however, try quite hard once he understood why I needed it. Fortunately, the in-room fridge had cold enough drinks to use to help stop the swelling.

Short Break
Clean hotel with friendly staff. Whilst the food was basic it was fresh and plentiful. Need a car as it is on the verge of town. The beach is literally across the road. Although it is Spanish and most of the other guest were from Spain we were made very welcome and the staff made great efforts to speak in English with us. Overall, we had a wonderful and relaxing stay.

The hotel was way better than expected. very clean and right over from the beach. very nice and reccomend this hotel to anyone who wants a very clean, friendly and comfortible hotel to stay in Penscola. Only down side is the age of the people staying at the hotel. abit of a cruise ship crowd. we are in our 20's and the average age was about 70. It still didnt stop them from partying all night like we did!
