Only complaint is that the room wasn't ready at 2.00 and we had to wait an hour. Otherwise no complaints.

Great location right on the beach

Posted 11-Jun-2016
Pros: The pool area is good, and the apartment was well appointed. Location can't be faulted.
Cons: Plenty of sunloungers but not that allowed you to sit up to read or just people watch The linen is only changed every 3 days, this is not enough
Location: There are some good bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. The castle is worth a visit look out for the local castell events great fun
We stayed in the apartment block across the road from the hotel, but still only 30 yards from the beach. The apartment was clean and spacious and had everything you could need to be comfortable. The pool area was great with plenty of loungers and areas of shade. We only used the hotel breakfast once , it was OK but no more than that, but at €14 for two we could not complain, after that we made our own breakfast in the apartment. The hotel is located one street from the main road of the resort which has most of the bars and restaurants, but during our time there was quite and peaceful. It is also well located for the main transport links with a bus stop around the corner (buses to Barcelona every 20 minutes, takes an hour) and the platja railway station 15 minutes walk away (20 minutes to Barcelona, 10 minutes to Sitges) I would suggest that you purchase the T10 ticket for €8.5, this can be used on all public transport, each swipe of the ticket lasts about 1.5 hours so train and 2 metro journeys is one ticket.

Great balcony view

Really enjoyed location. Great room with large balcony overlooking ocean. If you don't want to be where the crowds are and are looking for a quiet location away from the main stream, this is the place.

Leuke combi strand/city trip

Posted 18-May-2016

Average hotel

Posted 18-May-2016
Positive: Price is reasonable especially for families who stay at apartments. Area offers a good option of bars and restaurants. It is close to the beach; and 15 min drive to airport. Negative: Apartments are about 1-2 minute walk from the main hotel location and therefore your car will be away from you if you need it. It is 30 mindrive south of Barcelona, the closest Renfe station is 10 min walk to the hotel. I was given an apartment with terrible tobacco smell, so when I called I had to go back to the hotel and change the apartment. Luckily, there was another one available. Check-in was lengthy about 30 min. They ask you to sign lots of papers, including a deposit of €100 which is not reimbursed as of 4 days after check-out! They will ask you to pay for parking in advance. Again at the check-out they did more paperwork including breakfast charge. My objection is they should do everything at the end like other hotels instead of splitting it to two parts and wasting customers' time. I was explained I could park with €12 a night for parking. I parked the first day just across the hotel and did not move my car at all. At the check out, I notice a ticket for €60 on my windshield. I went inside and explained but his English was so poor and he just said on the street. I said that his colleague had showed me to park but she apparently meant park INSIDE the hotel not street just opposite the hotel which they call it Blue Zone. Ultimately, I paid €24 to the hotel and a €60 ticket

Great view of the ocean

Posted 15-May-2016
Pros: Very accommodating staff. Location was great.
Cons: Have more time to enjoy dinning room. Only available certain times.
Location: Enjoyed the small town atmosphere. Plenty of places to eat. Enjoyed the beach and walking on the boardwalk. The beach is kept up very nice.
Really enjoyed our time here. It was away from the crowds. The weather couldn't have been any better. May was a great time of year to travel. Not too hot.

Prima appartement in bijgebouw

Posted 10-May-2016
Pros: Net appartement, prima zwembad
