"We stayed for 4 nights here, in mid april, a very quite and peaceful place. You can get a good sleep here and wake up with the sound of only birds singing. Breakfast is decent, good enough of variety and choices to start the day with. Not that close to major cities but Bologna is about a 20 minutes drive. I don't know how public transportation is in the area but with car it's good accessible."

"Truly a beautiful and old world look agriturismo. Felt like we were in an antique villa. Large room and excellent service. The owner is very nice and professional. Breakfast is home made, fresh, abundant and soooo good!!! 5 stars hotel except this little village outside of Bologna is nothing special. But the agriturismo is great and with great ambiance if you want to stay outside Bologna and take field trips from this location. Same hotel in Tuscany would be double the price."

"My husband and I were not so sure we had made a good choice as our cab drove us to this destination and the last 1/2 mile was a dirt road. It’s in a very remote location so we would definitely recommend anyone staying here has a vehicle! The property is expansive with gardens and grapevines. "Excellent location close to the train station. Only had one afternoon/evening to explore Bologna so wanted to stay close to the train station as we had to be on train next day. Also great location to walk into main area of Bologna. Front desk staff was very helpful. Our room wasn't ready when we arrived so we were offered a complimentary drink at the bar. The breakfast was very good with many different options, one of the best hotel breakfasts I have seen. Had many options for vegetarian, dairy free and gluten free. Rooms were nice and comfortable. We only had an issue with the shower and the half wall so did get a lot of water on the floor when in shower, guess we were supposed to "bath" and rinse??? Room has a safe, lots of lighting which many hotels do not, closets and drawers. Bathroom is large and has large counter area. I would definitely stay here again. There is a great cafe next door where we experienced the best cappuccino we have every had anywhere!!!"
