Casa Arabe (Arabic House) is a Mudejar-style house dating back to the 14th century, located within the heritage site area of Córdoba. Today the house is used as a meeting point to share and distribute Arabic culture and is self-described as “a bridge between two worlds.”
The building itself provides a reason to visit. Expect to see beautiful examples of traditional Arabic architecture and design, including mosaics, water features and exquisite tiling. Casa Arabe is open on weekdays with opening times typical of Córdoba it is closed in the mid-afternoon. Entry is free. Special events may require prior organization and may also have an admission fee. Regular buses stop nearby, but in Córdoba it is best to walk between the sights. Stop at other nearby historical centre attractions and explore the winding streets on foot.
