Perfect location

Beautiful location, superb staff for whom nothing was too much trouble, lovely rooms with fabulous views, the most comfortable bed we have ever slept on including our own, great roof top bar perfect for sunset drinks with great tunes, delicious breakfasts, minutes from great restaurants and boardwalk into the centre. Truly wonderful break where we relaxed the second we were greeted at the door and handed a delicious apple ice tea. We will be back. Thanks to the amazing staff.

SUPERB LOCATION

Pros: EVERYTHING !!!
Cons: IF I WERE TO BE PICKY - MAYBE A LITTLE ENTERTAINMENT IN THE EVENING. I.E. MUSIC MAYBE IN LOUNGE AREAS.
Location: LOCATION IS FABULOUS. RESTAURANTS NEARBY.
WE BOOKED ONE WEEK PRIOR . WE STAYED FOR 10 DAYS. PRIOR TO STAYING AT THIS HOTEL WE READ THE PREVIOUS REVIEWS. WHAT CAN I SAY - LOCATION FABULOUS. STAFF VERY HELPFUL, POLITE AND FRIENDLY. ROOMS SPOTLESS. BREAKFAST VERY GOOD. CANNOT FAULT THIS HOTEL AT ALL. ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL. WILL DEFINATELY STAY AGAIN.

Excellent base for Carvoeiro

Pros: High standards throughout
Cons: We noticed they sometimes struggled to maintain sufficient supply of bacon,eggs, fresh fruit, milk etc. at breakfast at busy times.
Location: We like close proximity to main town beach and centianes, as well as numerous excellent bars and restaurants
Have stayed in Carvoeiro many times over the past 12 years though previously always been in rented apartments. First time Stay at this hotel and would definitely return and recommend to friends. The hotel has recently been refurbished and despite some previous reviews suggesting a possibility of the work causing ongoing disruption, this was not an issue for us at all. Room was very spacious and comfortable even with an extra bed for our 15year old. The beds were all very comfortable, bathroom was excellent, especially walk in rainfall shower and towels and bed linen fluffy and lovely and soft. Nice little in room extras. No balcony / terrace but not an issue for us. Hotel leisure facilities all excellent. Breakfast selection is very good, gets busy at times but cannot be helped. Used Sky and pool bar during our stay once each. Excellent walking distance from several excellent restaurants and bars in Carvoeiro. Can easily walk to either Carvoeiro main beach or centianes beach. Both are fantastic.

Classy hotel

This was a last minute holiday so I was a little worried as to why there was still availability. However on arrival we were not disappointed. The refurbishment has been a triumph. Beautiful modern rooms which were exceptionally clean. The views were spectacular. If I were to make a criticism it would be that the wifi in the rooms was fairly useless at times and the television wasn't working at night. Perhaps too many people watching at once? Neither of these issues were rectified. These were minor details. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Stunning hotel, lovely staff

It would be very hard to beat this hotel. The setting is incredible and the renovations have created a really beautiful place to stay. Our room (deluxe sea view) was a great size with large outdoor space. Soundproofing excellent and great bathroom. TV worked well as did everything else and gorgeous comfy beds. The staff were a real high point. It was great to see a hotel investing in really talented trainees who were all so enthusiastic and friendly. Book it and have a wonderful holiday!

Nicely refurbished but not worth the extra money

Have stayed here on 3 occasions! This year to our surprise the hotel has got a make over to make it into a 5 star resort it's lovely the new Lobby and dinning room is beautiful but it's not a 5 star and worth the huge jump in price including the food and drink! They have a new roof top bar and we were honoured to be invited to the grand opening for a fee of €50 each no thanks!! 2 gin and tonics were €30 overall the pool and location are great but is it worth the extra money I don't think so! The staff are friendly and hotel is clean

5 Star luxury

Pros: Loved the position of the hotel - on the cliff top with uninterrupted sea views.
Cons: A kettle/tea making facility in room-only a coffee machine.
Location: Easy access to the town centre via the cliff top "broad walk" - only 15 mins to restaurants and shops.
Excellent, newly refurbished hotel. Lovely room, overlooking the sea and swimming pool.

Wonderful hotel in an amazing location

Breath taking views from the hotel. Great facilities. Really clean. Staff friendly and very helpful. Breakfast buffet fabulous choice. Great food in all eating places in the hotel. Amazing sky bar on roof of the hotel. Will go back again!

Gorgeous hotel in good locstion

The hotel has recently been refurbished and looks amazing. The staff were all friendly and helpful and they made our stay enjoyable and relaxing. The bedroom was spacious even with an extra bed for my 3 year old daughter. The playroom/kids club was good but would be nice to see a few more children's activities and a kids menu.

Disappointing

We arrived at the hotel checked in reception staff lovely got to our family room to find you could not sit out on the balcony cause you still had work men finishing off the renovation of the hotel very noisy then we find half eaten food in the room from the previous guests so we complained and got moved to another room which was slightly better but had red marks splashed up the white walls will not be returning not what you expect from a 5 star hotel they need to put more effort into the cleanliness of the rooms etc.
