Room was very clean, looked as if it had been recently painted and had relatively new carpet. Fixtures were older, but clean and functional. The only thing that wasn't great was the water pressure. Nonetheless, the water was hot and necessary toiletries were furnished. The bed and bedding were sufficient and the mattress was good and firm. The room we had was on the top floor and very quiet. The heater worked great and was very quiet.

Staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast options were great with a wide variety of healthy options. Room was very nice. Can't think of anything I would have changed. Lots of places to plug in your devices. Great value for the price.

My room toilet did not flush. Checked in late at night and didnt realize it until 2 am. Woke up in a hurry and to leave so i had to call and let them know. The beds are also hard so woke up with back pain. The 2 ladys i did speak to were incredible but the stay was not

I got there the lady said there was no room available for me I had already booked on the website then was kinda rude by speaking over all the guest in front of me there was men in front of me and said mam I have no rooms available after these men. I had drove all the way from Longview a hour and she didn’t call me when I booked the room to tell me she didn’t have a room available

nice hotel; can tell the rooms furniture, bathroom fixtures carpeting have all been update recently. Great hot breakfast eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy. Had an issue with TV and received assistance quickly. Easy access to highway

do better next time
Disappointed that there were no Kind rooms available on the ground floor and that there was no elevator and that they us a room farthest from the stairs. Breakfast area was overcrowded and lay out of food locations closeness of tables to serving line was inconvenient for all. Food prep was also slow, some people waited 10 minutes for eggs, juice and waffle mix. The couch had large stains on it.

We had some really good Mexican food at the place next door marked "Tacos". Who knew. The breakfast served was good and morning staff was extra friendly. Would definitely stay again

This was a wonderful place to stay extremely clean, excellent room for exceeded my expectations. Then the breakfast was wonderful. Bacon eggs sausage and gravy waffles, juices etc. on top of that the staff was wonderful very very friendly. I would recommend anyone to stay here

Welcoming Country Hospitality
Hotel was perfect for our trip to Carthage. Convenient to downtown Carthage. Andrea at the front desk was always on top of things and so friendly and welcoming. We had a TV question and the maintenance came within minutes. It is a well run and maintained hotel.

It was ok, my daughter had a softball tournament so we decided to stay so the girls could swim after the games. But we drive up and the pool is closed. It would have been nice to know that before we stayed, other wise we would have just drove home. They should really have Info like that on the site before you book!

The woman at the desk was extremely pleasant and the lobby was very nice. Once in our room it was apparent the hotel was not like the lobby. With no elevator, the no smoking room reeked of cigarettes and burned popcorn. The air conditioner barely worked as well. If you are in a bind it will work, otherwise do yourself a favor and check around to other locations first.

Overall this was a decent place. The front desk man was not friendly AT ALL, he did not even say hello when we arrived, never smiled never said “enjoy your stay” nothing. The room was clean but had a slight smell, once we turned the fan on we didn’t notice it. Beds were comfortable. Water in the shower had no pressure and the tub was very very slippery, I almost slipped and so did my husband. Overall for the price and a one night stay it was fine. One other thing to mention, there are no places to eat around the hotel, we found it strange, most times there are at least a few fast food places. Oh and no pizza after 11 on a Saturday, we were starving so ended up going to the Mobil that is close and getting chicken bc there was nothing else around. Just some things to think about

Outstanding stay.
Booked with expedia for a two night stay and decided to stay a third night. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, the rooms are spacious, near to eatery's. The staff is exceptionally professional and courteous.
