"We had the ocean view room on the second floor. It was newly renovated, with a beautiful private bathroom and beautiful wood work throughout. We were a bit spoiled when we were there, since there were no other guests on our floor during our stay. The kitchen and living room were spacious and well equipped, and Josh was always there to help us if we needed it. We would definitely stay here in the future"

"These were excellent hosts! They clearly cared about making our stay amazing. The best thing about this place was easily the location next to Carlsmith Beach where we swam with sea turtles!The hosts communicated every step of the way. Check in and out was a piece cake, laundry was super convenient, the unit has been recently remodeled and everything was ready for us!"

"Stayed in the “dorm style” room. The common kitchen and living area was well stocked. There were dishes, different cooking implements, microwave, pots and pans in the kitchen. Each private room has a small fridge and a private bathroom. The AC was cold. When I stayed, I think there was only one other person in the dorm but I only heard them when they came in. I could not hear them in their room. My room had a glass slider to the grassy yard in front. Siobhan (front desk clerk) was friendly and communicated through messages about check-in before my stay. Check-in was quick. Facility was busy during my stay but my room was located away from the action and very quiet. This will be my usual stay when I’m in Hilo."

"Amazing views of the ocean and Mauna Kea from the bedroom and balcony, and the proximity to the water was perfect! The place was clean, comfortable, and well stocked with essentials It's also a great location for home base while exploring the Hilo area and the host was very friendly and responsive to messages. Check in/out was a piece of cake as well!"

"This is the second time I've stayed here, and highly recommend it for exploring Hilo. It is clean, light, bright, and stocked very well (even snorkel equipment, ice chests and beach chairs!). It overlook one of the sweetest lagoon and snorkel spots on the island, so you can take your morniong and evening swim. Check in and out are easy and the host is very responsive. Mahalo!"

"The apartment was very comfortable and had great views. Snorkiling with turtles was just a five minute walk away and you could see the spot from the balcony. Apartment was clean and farily welll equipped and communications were good. We enjoyed our time there."
