Absolutely hellish experience. Firstly upon getting to my room, the bathroom was filthy. Ok. It’ll do for 1 night. After an 8 hour drive and another 8 hours to follow the next day, this “Inn” being my rest stop, woken at 4.45am by the fire alarm going off. Staff absolutely clueless and the site was total chaos. No gathering at fire assembly point, just people wandering aimlessly around a car park half naked with one staff member walking around with a sheet of paper asking for room numbers. Asked what’s going on and was told waiting for the fire brigade. Is there a fire? No. I gave up after 30 minutes of chaos and left to start my trip at 5.30am. Some rest stop. Sun Inns? NEVER again.

Lovely clean basic room just a pity it doesn’t have @ restaurant as the eateries in the rest area are really terrible and that good breakfast place is just garbage (expensive garbage) but I would definitely recommend the hotel

Close to the motorway exit but was quiet. Gretna town centre was only a few minutes away with a great shopping/dining range.

Reception staff, rude especially over the phone, paid almost £100 for our stay. We checked in, unpacked and went back out, when we returned we discovered that we had dirty towels, one of the pillows had blood on it which the hotel are trying to blame us for, even tho on the pictures you can clearly see it's under the pillow case so definitely not our blood, the cot we were provided with for our son was also broken, my son could have trapped his fingers in it. Staff are not interested in the issues and refuse a refund. Also had guests outside smoking weed and the corridor down to our room stunk of it.

The room was comfortable, comfy bed, two armchairs, tv kettle and beverage options. Reception desk pleasant and helpful and open 24 hours ! Parking right outside my room. and it was very quiet, very impressed.

Quiet, comfortable and clean
Quiet and very comfortable. After camping through a storm, we made a last minute reservation half way to our destination and were not disappointed. Customer service was fantastic and the room was big and comfortable. Had the best night sleep.

Clean comfortable and really just as expected which for Days Inn and other very similar providers is the big plus. My criticism has been the same for year; where accommodation is offered for two people it would seem sensible to have two seats. To expect guests to take in turns sitting down is a little extreme.
