It was cheap but that's it. The bed was comfy but the walls extremely this. I heard someone with a clear mental issue arguing with himself for 8 hours. Had very little sleep and ended up having to do a fire service recruitment test and a 4 hour motorbike journey in poor weather, extremely tired.

The building presents well from the front and the staff are very helpful and always available. It was my first time staying somewhere with a shared bathroom between around 4 rooms however there was a separate toilet as well as a toilet in the bathroom. It was always clean and I never saw anyone else in them. The room was nice and simple however the aerial on my tv wasn’t fantastic and it was very small. The area itself is quite noisy and I didnt feel safe walking to the store one night as it is close to town and it attracts some rough people. The rest park only has 4 car spaces and it is very tight. My car was unable to fit in there easily without blocking anyone else. On street parking available down side streets less than a minute away. All in all, I would stay again as the staff were fantastic and would go out of their way to help out as I was fortunate enough to find out when I had an issue with my phone.

Welcoming hotel, in useful location (bus stops just outside with direct route into town, or walk-able). Slept very well in spotlessly clean well-appointed room. Ensuite was similarly pristine. Appreciated the thoughtfulness of choice of drinks (eg sufficient decaff, and there was the option of oatmilk for those who prefer). Would happily stay there again.

I found the hotel was very peaceful and very comfortable the lady greated me when i knocked the door was very kind and helpful i was gutted i didnt have a en suite but for the price no complaints

Would definitely use again.
Travelled for work with a colleague. Chose a twin with en-suite for simplicity, and as we would be back from work late and leaving early the next morning. Staff were friendly. Check in online easy. Everything very clean and tidy. Would definitely stay again if working nearby. Great value for money

Property description not correct. Paid for breakfast included. Not available. No large sitting room in the hotel. Bedding was clean and bed comfortable. But I will be contacting expedia about the incorrect description and over paying for rooms. Not a good experience.

Good location and clean cosy rooms.
Good location in Cardiff. Not too far away from the city centre although a taxi is much easier than a long walk. Room was fine with some parking around the back and more on the roads nearby. Would come back again.

Bed clean enough . Sink and floor not good condition . Tea tray not filled every day so no drinks 1 day . Shower room so small no room to turn around . Ridiculous . Tiny plastic bottles of shower gel . Not enough , and too much plastic. Website mentions breakfast but not available. No details of any local cafes or places . No details of any transport or sights .

Nice room and location convenient for night out in Carfiff. Public transport available directly outside hotel. Unfortunately no option for breakfast but this was not a major issue as I managed tofind somewhere in Cardiff centre. Overall hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff nember I met was helpul and friendly.

We enjoyed our stay at Tanes hotel. Very clean and bed was so comfortable! We just didn’t realise the toilet and bathroom was separate from room. Very convenient for buses too as stop outside. Would come again. 😌

Rooms are decent if you can get one with an en suite otherwise your sharing a toilet & shower. Very old fashioned property with old decoration & steep narrow steps leading upstairs as there is no lift. Wasn't pleased how I was asked for my debit card & details including my card being photographed including CVV2 number.
