Hotel ok, nearby alarm not ok.
Good location for the airport and great value, friendly check in, room compact but had everything you need. Bit tatty and not super clean. Biggest problem was at 11pm and 3am an alarm in one of the nearby retail units went off for about 15 mins at a time. Not a lot the hotel can do about the alarm but did mess up a much needed night's sleep before an early flight.

Affordable and a great little town to explore
For the price, it was excellent. The lobby did have a peculiar smell to it, but the room was clean, and there was an elevator, which is a bit rare for Europe. Overall there were no issues.

the hallways and public spaces reek of cigarette smell - couldn't get to our room without being engulfed in this odor. Otherwise -- everything was well done.

Its an Ibis economy, so its very small for a family of 3 adukts but it was just a place to sleep for a night on s road trip and it was gine for the price

OK for a 1 night stay
Situated on a retail park it had some good shops and couple of places to eat. Good access to the motorway. Rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly. Breakfast was adequate.

Room smelled of cigarette smoke
Overnight stay for flight the next day. Location is good due to proximity of shops & restaurants. Hotel itself is very basic. En suite shower had a shower head holder which had been installed horizontally instead of vertically, so therefore not actually usable. Toilet & shower are almost part of the bedroom rather than separate from it and finally our room smelled of cigarette smoke from previous incumbent ! Would not stay here again.

Nice and clean. Rooms have air conditioning. Very conveniently situated for the airport. You need a car if you are going to use it as a base for sightseeing in the area. There is no hotel restaurant, but there are places to eat within walking distance. Friendly staff.

Excellent Value
For the price, it more than gets the job done if the job is to sleep comfortably and bathe efficiently. The rooms are small but immaculate. Breakfast was typical "Ibis Budget". 6 Euros for good coffee and breads and coissants and yogurt and fresh fruits, etc. There are other food choices very close by. We used 2 rooms for the 4 of us and they got the job done for a most reasonable price.

Lovely hotel for the price
Such a great hotel for the price. Basic room but still very comfortable and all the amenities. The only issue is getting taxis into town etc are few and far between and expensive when available. If using this hotel I would advise renting a car also. The staff are lovely and very helpful!

Good for what we wanted
The hotel was clean, functional and safe - which was pretty much what we needed. Getting a taxi in to Carcassonne was quite tricky so we used a nearby bus-stop and got the bus into the main city and then walked to the old city. 1 Euro each, so excellent value. The hotel that night was comfortable and did everything that we needed. It was easy to find and gave easy access to the main roads. We opted for the breakfast which was nice and, whilst possibly overpriced, was massively convenient. We'd stay here again without hesitation - which I suppose is the highest accolade I can give.

This is a basic hotel. It was very clean and served its purpose for one night's stay. It is next door to a McDonald's and other stores. It's located about 10min from the castle.

Good overnight place to stay
This is a bare bones hotel but clean and gets the job done. Very helpful staff. We went out for breakfast. Good place to stay if you flying in or out of Carcassonne. It's about a 10 minute ride to the Cite.

Ibis Budget is a great hotel chain, comfortable and amazing value. After spending the day walking around Carcassone, it was nice to be able to drive here, park free, have some quiet and rest before heading on to a new destination the next day.

Great for a night
The location is in an industrial park and the hotel is not fancy. But it has everything needed for a night, it is clean and friendly and a bargain price . Recommended for a short stay.

Absolutely fine for a stop off or stop over
I found this place totally met my needs - cheap, cheerful, nice staff, clean, free car parking and a safe if not soulless area. More about the area - of course it is right by the airport but it is also on large retail park, lots of roundabouts and warehouse style places where you can buy a tractor or marble bathroom. There were supermarkets and fast food places too and what looked like decent diner style restaurant. It had a bemusing affect on my navigational abilities as I never managed to nail a direct route back to the hotel after sightseeing, all the roundabouts looked the same with parallel roads and I ended up doing a few laps. All good fun.

Hôtel simple et bien placé. L'accueil est agréable et les chambres sont bien. Juste à savoir si vos voisins de chambres ne savent pas retenir leurs portes, celle-ci vous réveilleront rapidement. Il faudrait régler les groom pour accompagner la fermeture les portes des chambres.
