Stunning location and perfectly placed
Stunning location and perfectly located. Breakfast v good and pool just what was needed to cool down. Staff lovely but not enough of them so service was a bit slow.

Great hotel, tiny bathroom
Lovely hotel with great facilities and really helpful staff. However some of the bathrooms were tiny, you had to get into the shower sideways and manoeuvre around the sink to sit on the toilet. The standard varied too, there were 8 in our group and some had decking and others not.

We loved this hotel. Unbelievable location across the street from the most amazing castle. Pool and other facilities were great. Highly recommend this place.

Excellent property on every level - authentic French style and quality . Staff are so professional, breakfast and lunch at the property was delicious. Outdoor seating and pool area is beautifully maintained and the gardens are idyllic . Perfect location to explore Carcassonne and the surrounding areas

This hotel has amazin outdoors- restaurat bar etc that is extremely comfortable... yet the rooms are definition of cramped. Clean but cramped.

Fantastic location directly in front of the walls of Carcassone. Easy and secure parking. Lovely pool and hot tub( but small). The hotel is lovely and the rooms are modern, but compact. We had a patio which was a bonus.

Increíble view from our room
The view from our room was absolutely beautiful. The people at the reception where very very nice. Our room was not very clean. I took pictures of the floor that looked like it had not been swept in days.

The shower was set up in a way that the whole bathroom flooded when anyone took a shower. But this seems to be common in France in general. One of our outside doors wouldn't close/latch, so we had to close and lock a secondary shutter outside the door.

This hotel was ideal for a weekend break, well situated and within walking distance of everything. The staff were young, enthusiastic, friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was delicious, of very good quality and reasonably priced. I would definately return! Emer

Excellent location right outside cite walls and close to new town it’s a good hotel but could do with a couple of tweaks no fridge or tea/coffee facilities in room and window overlooked houses next door with no privacy blinds so had to have curtains shut all the time and WI-FI was terrible

The absolute best location outside the city walls, you are literally right outside the old city walls. Staff was super friendly and offered to carry ours bags to our room and gave hand written suggestions for restaurants without asking. Our stay was very reasonably priced as well. We saw the bad reviews some left before booking and laughed so hard when we arrived and saw the reality. Those reviews must have been from old fat people with silly expectations....it was 3 to 4 times as nice as we expected. Stop looking and book the room here!

The young lady who checked us in was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The room was small, but had everything necessary for a comfortable stay. The breakfast was ok, but we would have preferred a buffet breakfast instead of having a server bring the food and coffee to our table.

The location is really great. But unfortunately two issues - the hotel advertises a spa, but we were told that in high season it is unavailable for guests as it is always booked up. Secondly, when we used the bath, there was a noise like someone was playing the didgeridoo over very bad speakers. I’m not talking about pipes rattling, it was full-on like a rutting wildebeest. Made it completely unusable. I took a recording and played to the person at reception and they seemed completely indifferent.

Ood value and great location.
Great location and comfortable room with very friendly service. The hotel is right across the street from the entrance to the old walled city which was perfect for our short stay. And we had a semi private patio/garden area. I think ours was a deluxe room so it was a bit smaller than I expected. And I am used to most rooms having a mini fridge and kettle so was surprised this one did not. I had brought wine and didnt have a place to chill it so one of the receptionists helped me out with an ice bucket which was very accommodating. The colors in the room are way too loud, lots of bright pink and orange which is rather hard to look at. I would definitely stay again and just ask for a different room. The parking was reasonably priced at €10. I thought €15 was a bit high for a continental breakfast so we ate in the old town.

I thought the property and facilities were very well maintained. The wall paper in my room screamed at me. Too many bold colors. The 60’s are calling! They want their room decor back! I couldn’t get the shower head to work in the bathroom. In fact, a small chrome piece came loose in my hand. At that point, I gave up on the shower. It was also difficult to get in to.

Carcassone gem
This hotel is the perfect location to explore all the Carcassone has to offer. The accommodations are clean and comfortable, the lounge at the partner hotel across the street has one of the best night time views of the médiéval cité and the friendly onsite cat and dogs were an added bonus. The staff were attentive and friendly and our son LOVED his daily Chocolat chaud in the mornings!

Perfect choice of hotel
Fantastic hotel. Location was perfect for a trip to Carcassonne and our room was clean, comfortable and a good size. The service we received during our stay was friendly and could not of asked for more at the price point
