The Hotel was nice, the location was random... It is across from the main bus station, and it was a 40TL cab ride from the hotel to the airport. It seems like cab drivers like to rip people off, and 40 was as low as we could get, so beware. The Hotel was a great pool (they make you wear a swim cap), the staff is very nice, and the restaurant is very good. The restaurant serves NO booze, which seemed a little odd, but Kayseri is a very conservative city. The Hotel is also attached to a very nice shopping mall, with some food places and a great supermarket/deli. We felt out of place here as apparently no tourists really stay here. The hotel seemed pretty empty except for a soccer team. The staff all speak English and are vey accommodating. Oddly we met a English speaking lady at the mall, and she was amazed anyone would visit Kayseri, in fact we seemed to be an oddity. We stayed for a airport connection, but other than that it seemed like not much else to do in that part of the city.
