It should be a secular hotel

I know that Novotel is French Chain, and I enjoy my stay every time I book there. But this time I was shocked that this branch in Keyseri- Turkey, they didn't bother to open a buffet in the morning because of Ramadan!! They instead made us go to the hotel next door to have our breakfast... It's a shame how an international standards' hotel takes such religious measures in a so called secular country!!! Knowing that even under the islamic rules, the traveller has the right to stop fasting... Anyway, it was a black point for Novotel and the management there, as it is a shameful discrimination for clients from other worldviews!!

Everyday of Ramadan, we prepare Suhoor menu and breakfast menu for our guests at Novotel Kayseri. Service type of the menu can change as a plate service or buffet depending on the number of the hotel guests in order to prevent wastefulness. On the date of your stay, Breakfast menu was served as a plate service and our teams were in assistance for any additional items you may require during your breakfast. As you have requested a buffet, you were assisted to our open buffet at ibis Hotel. Stay Away** staff was terrible and unorganized.

After Paying for one night through Expedia the hotel durning check out accused me of staying multiple nights and not paying. I only stayed one night and payed. They said they were going to call the police if I didn't pay. After an hour of trying to get ahold of the information and receipts I was finally able to board my early morning flight. Thank you for the huge head ache Novotel. Never to return

To Cappadokia.

Arrived late in evening and left next day for Cappadokia. Didn't eat any meals so can't comment. Would have preferred a rate that included breakfast. Front desk were helpful in organizing bus transfers.

Good, but not as good as other reviews suggest

Pros: 1) Solid fitness center 2) Proximity to airport 3) Comfortable room with smart design (e.g. desk, plugs, etc)
Cons: 1) No way to close shower to prevent spillage (designed to do this, but not perfect) 2) Restaurant -- slow, non-English speaking help, food so-so
Location: Very close to the airport (which is why we chose it), but not much else. TIP: It costs about 15 Turkish Lira for a taxi from the airport.
After arriving on a very late flight, this hotel was a very comfortable and welcome place to crash. Clean, modern, and well-designed (at least the bedroom). We both used the fitness center and while not super-advanced, it was absolutely fine. As noted above, the restaurant was a big disappointment on several levels: Upon arrival, we made it clear we were in a rush and needed the food in a certain amount of time. Our waitress assured us this would not be a problem but in the end, we had to cancel things and take certain things to go in order to not miss our taxi... and this was after reiterating the concern numerous times. It appears language was a barrier, despite the fact that this waitress was assigned to us by the supervisor when they learned we were English-speaking. In addition, the food was disappointing in quality and taste... and did not come close to matching what was described on the menu when it came to 1 or 2 of the 3 items we ordered. Restaurant aside and some design issues in the bathroom, it was an absolutely fine hotel to stay in, especially for the night. It should be noted however that it does not come close to being a 4-star hotel as defined by Expedia... hopefully that error will be fixed and it be listed correctly as the perfectly fine 3-star hotel that it is.

Nice budget hotel

Very close to the skiing facilities and cappadocia. Room was comfortable and you'll get what you paid for

het was een super leuke ski vakantie

Deze hotel ligt op goede locatie. Centrum ligt 5 minuut rijen.Vliegveld ligt 15 minuut rijen. Ski pisten was 30min rijen.Hotel had service bussen voor ski plek. Deze kost heen -retour alleen maar 7euro per dag. Kayseri /Erciyes is leuke plek voor ski vakantie. Zeker aan te raden

Otelde pozitif noktalar;1)Superior odadaki sofa-bed açılınca iki çocuğun rahatça yatabileceği büyüklükte bir yatak oluyor ve böylece 4 kişilik bir aile aynı odada ekonomik bir şekilde konaklayabiliyor.2)Kahvaltı zengin sayılır.3)Oda temizliği ve genel hizmet iyi.4)Gezilecek yerlere mesafe yakın.Ama özel araç varsa.Gelelim negatif noktalara:1)Kahvaltıda ikram edilen sucuk bir sucuk memleketi olan Kayseri için kötüydü.Ayrıca kahve makinesi Nescafe'den kahve yapan bir makine yerine çekilmiş,doğal kahve kullanan bir makine olsaydı keşke(Ayrıca makinenin suyunu çektiği su damacanasına giren hortumların kirliliği ve hortumların yanındaki açıklıktan her türlü kirliliğin damacanaya karışması ihtimali hijyenik değildi.2)Odalardaki televizyonlar daha büyük ekranlı olabilirmiş.3)Açılınca yatak olan sofa-bed açıldığında düz bir satıh oluşturmuyor ve rahatsız bir yatış sağlıyor.
