Checking in was a pain because i had a 3 BR reservation which I confirmed the day before; however upon checking in they changed my reservation to a 2 BR & studio. Please note that the BR do not have ACs but portable units were provided. We stayed in Room 508 which is the 2 BR & 510 which is the studio. Both rooms were perfect, ample space, clean & stocked with lots of plates, cups & utensils, washer, dryer, microwave, toaster & big refrigerator. The outside balcony has a view of table mountain & the balcony from the room has a view of the city. These units were home away from home. The security was great at the hotel. However the area can be a bit sketchy at night but we still felt safe. We used uber to go everywhere. There is a Spar supermarket which is a 5 minute walk. We will definitely stay here again. We loved staying here.

My main disappointment with this hotel was the staff and there service. I was in town for a meeting the same day as check in and had sent 2emails the week before asking for early check-in if possible so I could refresh after my flight before the meeting. Arrived at 12pm 2 hours before check-in, they couldn't get me in early. Came back at check-in time, my room was still not ready. Even though I had explained to them 2 hours previously I had an appointment at 3pm I needed to be at. Didn't get into the room untill almost 2:20pm. My blind in the bathroom didn't close so had to put a towel up for privacy to shower. My welcome note was addressed to another person. The hotel is comfortable enough location is close to city but would not stay again due to there inability to help out.

Apartment has everything except location
Hospital street is easy for taxis to find – about R280 from the airport in a metered taxi but check in is strange and involves completing questions on an electronic pad. Guests are issued with a thob to get through the security gate next to the guards and to activate the lifts. Lock on the front door meant it had to be slammed to be closed. Apartment had everything from a bed area with sort of bed side cabinets and a desk to a kitchen with all the appliances, fridge, microwave and a washing machine, tea and coffee making, a dining table, sofa, armchairs and a TV, reliable wifi and a balcony with blinds and controllable air-conditioning. Bathroom was adequate with all toiletries other than teeth and shaving provided. A noticeable downside though was the glass panel in the bathroom door that faces directly onto the bed area. However checkout is far too early at 10am, and I both got called by reception and had the cleaners banging on my door to get me out on time. Luggage is stored behind the security guard’s area and the hotel can provide pre-booked taxis for a premium (R350). There’s nothing in this area of town, and it takes at least 10 minutes to walk to the train station and 15 to walk to the waterfront area. You also need to be careful of the nearby backstreets as some didn’t feel or smell safe. Nice apartments, but not a nice area and checkout is too early.

Don,t be fooled by the photos of luxurious rooms. The place is porly managed and badlly maintained. . I was stuck in the elevator for over half an hour. Pitch dark, the only button that worked was the alrrm and no hotel staff responded to that. Then when i did get out they tried to tell me it was my fault. They refused to give our party of five more than two keys so we left them at the front desk when we went out, but that is only manned till midnight, and they couldn.t find them when we got back. Add windows that blow open in the wind because the latches are broken, lights that won.t come on, appliances that are not even wired in. Do yorself a favour and find somewhere else to stay.

The rooms were spacious and very clean. It would be good if they could provide as standard some USB ports for charging devices or some international plug sockets to cater for international travellers.

Really nice stay.
The lady who checked as in was great! Made a such an effort and had a good laugh with, one of the best receptionist I have dealt with ever in my 17 years of travel. Kitchen had almost no glasses - had to wait 45 minutes to get some. Whatsapp number for emergency/contact does not work at all. Had to walk down to reception to request glasses/services. Shower in main bedroom was very poor (pressure) and the bedding does not fit the size of the bed. Its like a queen duvet on a king bed. The front door you have to slam to get open or closed, and there was no dish clothes/towels or anything to wash dishes with/clean after yourself if required. Apart from that the apartment is great. Really good size, stunning kitchen, and not so noisy as expected. The blinds is an issue especially as all the rooms were on the road so you could barely sleep as the rooms are so lit up - so a good idea would be to get blinds that is of good quality and can close. The balcony area was nice to open up and the building itself was quite peaceful, very clean and we never felt unsafe. So overall really good stay, staff was more then happy to assist where there was an issue.

2 star - ok for sight seeing trip .
Hotel easy to find , reception and security staff helpful and friendly . My friends 50th birthday and kindly put balloons around room and a cake which was nice touch. Didn’t have rooms cleaned while we were there , had 3 nights . Had two safes which didn’t work , spoke to reception said would sort next day as no one to help , never happened . No plug for hairdryer , have to request one , stayed in 5 air b b always had working hairdryer and plugs. Beds comfy but road very busy so lots if traffic keeping you awake . Apartment bit run down needs refurbished. Doors broken on tumble dryer, and one cupboard carpets dirty and quite worn . Ok for couple of days sight seeing .

Harbouredge is in an excellent location. Perfect for the waterfront with all the lovely restaurants and museums. Also very close to the arty Cape Quarter lifestyle centre and the colourful Bo Kaap area. The staff at Harbouredge could not have been more lovely and helpful. A great place to stay.

Excellent central London location
Superb location in central London with very helpful reception staff. Rooms modern and large for this price range in central London. Room wifi v good and worktable in room. Modern spacous bathroom with in room espresso machine, microwave (for reheat) ironing board. Room is quite. Perfect for business trip. No in house restaurant or bar but discounts for nearby places. Excellent range of restaurants and bars nearby in all price ranges. My new go to place in London central. Congrats to all in reception for their friendless

Nothing to like. Room had bathroom glass door that was missing, only bath towels were available, no foot or face towels. Lobby reception as small as can be. Homeless people sleeping outside the place.

The security at this facility was phenomenal. Someone always walked you out to the cab. Gated community setting . Housekeeping were friendly, kind and extremely helpful.
