While the room was generally clean, more attention needed to be focused on the shower. Found someone else's hair in the shower and soap on the shower wall. It is clear updating is occurring with the recent ownership change. Carpet needed to be replaced in Room 9. God forbid you have an issue if you arrive late. You have to check in at a different hotel, receive a key card, then present the key card to the front desk in the morning for a "real key". Unfortunately, all three key cards didn't work. After driving back & forth to the other hotel, they sent maintenance on his way home. He was able to open the door with his master key, but would not open the Front Office to get a key that worked. So once in the room, we couldn't leave until staff arrived at 9am the next day (unless we wanted to leave the door open and our belongings available for someone to steal) -- unacceptable! The staff at the front desk the next morning DID NOT CARE. Did not even offer an apology. So hopefully new management can fix these issues going forward.
