Decent Hotels at a Decent Price
Nice enough room at a competitive rate. Very friendly staff at both check-in and check out. The hotel actually called me to tell me the room was ready ahead of check-in time, without asking. Nice touch.

This is our 2nd stay here. I was not impressed. One lamp in the room had no light bulb. The mattress was very hard. We stayed two nights and there was no housekeeping (emptying waste baskets, general clean up). The outside trash bags had been broken into by animals and the trash was strewn along the side of the building for two days. Generally, it was clean and presentable. The price was right and we just needed a bed for two nights, but I might look a little harder next time we are on the end of the cape.

Economy /no frills room accommodations with free continental breakfast close to Cape Cod National Seashore Beaches with easy access to Outer Cape attractions including Coast Guard Beach, Great Pond, Nauset Beach, Marconi Station Beach , Wellfleet Bay Audubon Center. Good value for a long off-season weekend getaway.

Nothing flashy about this place. You get what you pay for and it does it’s job. Room was old and somewhat falling apart. Had a strange smell about it that eventually goes away. Convenient to all of cape cod locations. Worth a night stay but nothing more.

The heat lamp didn't work, they didn't come to clean the room at all. The towels were so thin that it was hard getting dry with one. There were no coffee cups in the room with the coffee maker. There was no hair conditioner and when I asked the front desk, they didn't even know whether there should be conditioner in the room. The breakfast was not very good. The bed was not comfortable and was probably bargain basement quality. I would not recommend this place at all. For the price we paid, it should be much better.

Hello, the property manager had explained how to operate the heat lamp timer on two occasions. The heat lamp worked throughout your stay. The room was serviced with fresh towels. We supplied coffee cups to the room as needed. Our shampoos are two-in-one combo with the conditioner as many other hotels provide. Our continental breakfast includes fresh bagels, English muffins, creams cheese, various pastries, cereal, oatmeal, fresh fruits, teas and plenty of coffee. We offer the best rate for the summer season lodging in the entire Outer Cape area while offering free continental breakfast.

Recommended lodging in Eastham
Very comfortable, convenient, clean, relatively inexpensive. also quiet and very convenient parking. I'd like to see the facility ramp up their breakfast offerings, as there don't seem to be any places to get a quick breakfast nearby.

A comfortable motel in budget
Its location is good which is just off the RT 6. There are mini golf, restaurant and outdoor movie theater nearby. It offers free breakfast. The staff is very nice. Be sure to check-in before 9 pm.

Okay stay.
Okay room. Asked for cleans towels and it took all day to get them. Only give room service upon request. Asked for some garbage bags and never got them. Out of hot water for 2 days. The breakfast was good because others motels in the area don’t have breakfast. The grounds are not kept up. Certainly not a Marriott which costs less.

This was our second stay at Viking Shores, based on that stay we decided to stay there again. The room we had on our first visit was roomy and well laid out. The last one was not! The queen bed was located in a nook which made it difficult too get in the bed.

Our room comforter had blood on it. Toilet clogged after 1 person going to bathroom. When maintenance came in, they plunged toilet and offered to change comforter - they were not apologetic at all and did not show any concern. We asked for a refund for our next night's stay and the manager (Alan?) was ridiculous and called the young, female, cleaning staff into the office in front of us to reprimand them. It was completely inappropriate to do in front of guests. Will not stay again.
