Seaside Delight

Posted 21-Nov-2016 on Hotels
Sandcastle is perfectly located at the beginning of Provincetown. Easy to get to with plenty of parking. Janine was very friendly and helpful when we checked in. The room was a suite. Very clean and set up well. The couch was a little uncomfortable but that's really the only complaint with the room. We enjoyed our stay very much. The maid service was a little eager on check out day showing up at 8:00am. Needless to say, she had to wait. I would recommend Sandcastle to all our friends. Added bonus was a discount card that was used throughout the weekend!

Good bang for the buck

We had a nice quiet overnight stay. We used the Jacuzzi and pool and enjoyed it. The room was clean. No complaints. We'll be back this off season.

Tired Old Dump

Posted 08-Nov-2016 on Hotels
this is a tired old dump with an ultra cheap motel feel - paid $10 extra for a balcony - turns out it has a view of the parking lot - a one star not a three star- entire place smells of old hotel/mold and cigarettes - even the bed linens smelled like smoke. The bathtub was dirty - had soap scum and dirt film in it. There is only front desk staff for one hour in the morning and two hours in the afternoon, otherwise, no one around -they give you a number for "security" in case anything happens. They have tried to update the rooms with a kitchenette and decent updated furniture (the best feature and why I rented it) but studio had poor lighting, horrible brown speckled indoor-outdoor carpet The bathroom was gross. I think they need to demolish these buildings and start over.

Dirty and old

Posted 07-Nov-2016 on Hotels
The room was dirty, we found old food aside of the refrigerator, towels, sheets were stained, pool was yellow on bottom over all very outdated, needs total overhaul , wouldnt recommend to anyone. Front desk staff was nice but house keeping tried to open the door without knocking and didn't clean the room .

Great Place to stay

Posted 03-Nov-2016 on Hotels
Had a great stay, big rooms with double balconies. The hotel is a bit away from downtown Provincetown, too far to walk but a 5 min drive. Parking downtown is tricky, small streets and not many parking spaces. Plan to come back in summer! It's located near the beach, so a short walk there.

Place was nice and not far away from the center of town. Only thing was the wind kept blowing through the cracks in the door which made it a little difficult to sleep. Other then that it was a nice place.

Awesome weekend

Stayed for a weekend to celebrate my wife's birthday on late October, the staff was really friendly, the pool was clean and warm, the hotel is very close to downtown, views are awesome.

Rooms are spacious, but everything is outdated or broken. The only available electrical outlets to charge your devices can be found in the kitchen and bathroom.

It was an awful room. No air condition. The bathroom door did not close.
