Manager was very friendly and personable. Room was spotless and decorated nicely. A gem in disguise. The outside looks like a simple motel but the room was quite a surprise!

This was perfect for a one night stay with a young family. It was spotlessly clean when we arrived. WiFi was weak and didn’t really work, but otherwise couldn’t fault this motel.

The owners could be friendlier. It seemed like an inconvenience to check in. To get ice you have to find someone to unlock the office. To get extra towels you have to find the owner and walk with him to his garage to get them. There are no phones in the room to call the office. The rooms are nice and large but there’s no space to put anything down in the bathroom.

Rooms were big, plenty of storage space, comfortable superking size bed and the bathroom looked newly remodeled. Everything was very clean. There is a large Walgreens across the road and a choice of restaurants within a 5 minute walk..everything from a local diner to an Italian, gourmet hotdogs and hot sandwiches. There's a range of shops around a 5 min drive away including Walmart, Dollar Tree, Stop n Shop and Job Lots

Great stay!
My partner and I stayed for a couple of nights and loved how clean, cute, and close to things to do the Mariner was! We would highly recommend the Mariner for anyone looking for an adorable room at a reasonable price.

We were a little taken aback at being charged an extra $15 per person per day for our two (adult) children that were added to the reservation--with no additional fold-a-way beds (we all shared the 2 doubles). But, I guess it was cheaper than getting a 2nd room--and I may have glanced at that notation upon booking, but they came at the last minute. I have never had a hotel/motel do that. The place was very clean and sufficient for our needs. We were very close to all the places we needed to be and had it not been raining all weekend, we would've been walking everywhere we needed. It DID smell musty with the rain, but it's in a humid area (humidity and sea air) and that is to be expected. Before the rain, it was fine. It had NOTHING to do with cleanliness. It was a cute little locally owned place, and I'd go there again.

The staff and facilities were fabulous. Everything was so clean and the continental breakfast was fresh and provided more than the normal continental breakfast. The staff went out of their way to be helpful including carrying our luggage up to the second floor. The front desk clerk provided lots of helpful advice for our stay also. Location was outstanding. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

This is one of my favorite motels that I’ve ever been to. Everything about it is great. The location is fantastic, easy parking right in front of your room. Huge windows where you can see your car right out side for each unit. The place was immaculately clean and comfortable. The room was gigantic, including the bathroom. I will return due to my vacation being ruined by hurricane Lee.

Mariner Motel is an old property but WELL taken care of. Extremely clean and convenient. You could certainly walk to the Island Queen ferry (8 minute walk). So convenient. Several breakfast options within walking distance. Loved the motel. One ice machine in the front office. We stayed two nights. The place was booked.

Very nice! Would stay again. Ice machine a little inconvenient. Located in office which was closed later in evening. Microwave located on porch of main house so had to walk outside to end of motel to use. Would definitely stay here again though.

Well located Motel
We stayed here for two nights as a base to catch the ferry to Martha's Vineyard. Excellent location, close to the centre of Falmouth for restaurants and shops and walking distance to the passenger Ferry. We also managed a morning swim in the property's pool. Highly recommend this place.
