This historic duplex home was built in the early 1900s, when Cape Charles was founded. It has just been newly renovated for the 2018 rental season. This 4 bedroom home is a 1/2 block from Mason Ave. and 3 short blocks to the beaches. From the ground up with all NEW utilities including central air conditioning along with new plumbing and electrical throughout. 3 1/2 newly renovated baths with granite floors and countertops, a lovely new kitchen and plenty of room to spread out for a group of 6. This three-story home has a kitchen, dining room, and parlor room on the first floor and two beds and two master baths on the second floor and two additional bedrooms and another full bathroom on the third floor.

Great town and beach location!
we enjoyed the spacious 4-br side of the home, the nice back yard for playing catch, and the quick bike ride to town and beach with young kids! Jack was very helpful and communicative.

Great location in Beautiful Cape Charles Beach
Had a wonderful time in this town. Location was excellent. Rented a golf cart which is a must although easy walk to the beach and other shops etc on Mason Ave. Beach area and town very family friendly. Down side to this house is the steep stairs but we managed . Another downside was upon arrival house had not been fully cleaned even after checking time but owner was very apologetic. Overall it was a wonderful week!

Great home for family vacation
We had a great time in Cape Charles. The house was everything we expected and more! Perfect location. The kitchen had everything we needed and the whole home was extremely clean. I would note that if you can’t do stairs this isn’t the home for you, there are a lot of steep steps up to bedrooms but even my 82 yo grandma did it. I will definitely recommend Jack to anyone traveling to Cape Charles.

Very good location in a charming coastal town. Well appointed large kitchen. Good bedroom and bath spaces. Outdoor shower a huge bonus for two little boys! Our second stay in this VRBO. Host is very responsive to any concerns.

Quality Family Time
We wanted a house that would accommodate our adult children and grands. The house was beautifully decorated and stocked with all we needed. I was worried about the 3rd floor being hot but on the contrary it stayed cool all week. We loved that everything was within walking distance. We rented both sides of house and had plenty of space for 12 adults and 3 small children. Plenty of parking and side lot for children to play. The outdoor shed was filled with good quality beach stuff. It was beautiful. I loved outside shower too . Would definitely rent again. Already thinking about a girls trip in the fall. Cynthia

Spacious, comfortable, better than the pictures
Very nice stay for two families with 5 kids age 10-16. Plenty of space to spread out and be together. Owner has done a nice job ensuring all the supplies you could need (linens, cookware, etc.) are available in the house. Listing originally did not include detail that it is a duplex. That was something we thought should be disclosed given the current COVID-19 epidemic. Owner has since addressed this in the listing. And it was not an issue for us during our stay. Thanks!
