What a great experience! the hotel has beautiful views of the mountains from the rooms. The pool, sauna, steam room and hot tub were amazing. The dinner buffet was delicious and a good price. I highly recommend this place!
A basic but very clean hotel with pleasant staff. Perfect for a ski break or active holiday - within walking distance of the centre, bus stop and train station.
Beautiful / fantastic views. Easy check-in/out. Very comfortable inside with everything needed to make a comfortable stay. Will definitely look to book again on next visit!!
This place was very comfortable and well equipped for a one night stopover. We ate our home cooked meal on the private balcony enjoying the stunning mountain views. Leysin is beautiful! Having to take out our rubbish to some designated point in the parking garage was a bit weird.
We had a very pleasant and relaxing stay at Hotel Du Pillon. The hotel rooms were comfortable, the staff helpful and kind and because it was out of season we had access for a small fee to the kitchen which was nice. The breakfast consisted of a variety of breads, conserves, yoghurts and cereals. ...
We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel; well-located with some good restaurants nearby. Although the decor was dated, the room was clean, comfortable, and quiet, so we slept well. Good breakfast with plenty of choice. Very friendly and helpful staff.
If you’re looking for a Vaudois Alps ski hotel for your next winter holiday, you’ll find an extensive range to choose from with Expedia. The main resorts of Villars, Leysin and Les Diablerets are the obvious places to start, with all offering smooth-running infrastructure and the traditional alpine hospitality that Swiss ski holidays are renowned for. It’s worth checking out Vaudois ski hotels in the summer, too, as many are open year-round, providing access to the summer skiing on Les Diablerets glacier as well as to miles of hiking trails and adventure activities like canyoning, mountaineering and rafting.
Ski hotels in the Vaudois Alps are very often timber-built two- and three-star chalets, traditional four- and five-star luxury hotels great facilities, and a handful of more contemporary properties with a streamlined, modern feel. If you’re travelling with family or a group of friends, check the range of accommodation available, as many hotels offer flexible configurations of guest rooms, including standard single or double rooms, suites, triple and quad rooms, rooms with kitchenettes and living areas, or full apartments with separate bedrooms and balconies.
Also check whether your hotel has some of the other extras that will really make a difference to your skiing holiday, such as ski in/ski out access, laundry facilities, equipment hire and storage, and ease of access to the slopes.
To the east of Lake Geneva – whose attractive waterfront towns of Montreaux and Vevey make for an easy side trip – the Vaudois Alps provide beginner and intermediate skiers with some of the finest pistes around. All in all, some 260 miles of ski slopes are in the main three resorts, and other winter sport opportunities are close at hand too. You could easily spend a week trying your hand at curling, ice-skating, tobogganing or snowshoe walking before you even step into any skis.
Whether you’re seeking simple pine-clad rooms, or a more luxurious full-service hotel, search Expedia to find the right Vaudois Alps ski hotel for you.
