2/5 Poor

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, property conditions & facilities, room comfort
overpriced
didn't expect to have room backing onto beer garden with picture window! Curtains not lined and front door had no curtain in spite of it being link to hall way and toilet for room. Hello everyone in car park. If you like 1970's brown decor this is for you. Plus mish mash of styles, kettle by the bedside lamp due to no plug points and did I mention the brown bed spread and plasticky sticky black headboard on the bed. We had to check out before the night was out and headed in to canterbury for somewhere else. sorry but true. Beautful spot and decent ales but not somewhere to spend the night (yet).

Country Staying
This country pub is about 8kms from Canterbury but so lovely it is worth it. Little winding country lanes to get to it. Comfortable and pleasant room with great service.

Lovely place, great Atmosphere
A very friendly warm welcome. Tastefully decorated bedrooms with great veiws and very modern spotlessly clean bathroom. Would gladly stay here again.
