The hotel is being used to house asylum seekers - not a negative per se, just something to be aware of - bar areas are busy, there are notices up about not running in the corridors which make it feel like you’re at school, etc.
Also parking is charged, currently £3 - there is no alternative, so why not just add it to the cost of the room?
Overall it was fine for a business trip but if I was on a leisure break I’d have been disappointed.
